Most Valuable Artist Awards (MVA's)

Every month the art mods of AF will come together and nominate a member of the AF community who's been a valuable asset to the Art Forums. The winner will have an announcement displayed on all of the Art Forums sections with details about the win and links back to their showcase threads for everyone to see their works as well as a custom wooden engraved plaque. Please PM myself or Kaitou Ace about your prize winners!

You do not have to be the best artist on Anime Forum to win these prizes. You just have to contribute to the Art section via quality feedback postings, posting your art, participating in contests by entering or voting, and participating in other art related discussions.

Well considering this is only a monthly thing; and contests are run scarcely in between with only two contests ran for the entire year thus far (a drawing and signature contest); not really.

It's more like a recognition thing. If we were adamant on needing to hand out prizes we'd just host weekly contests.

It's definitely a good motivation for people to get more involved with contests and the Art section in general ^^ I mean, owning a custom made plaque with your username engraved in it? How awesome is that?

Opps I didn't update; ran the announcement but didn't update the thread. Holocast won February.. Due to not much going on last month no one won march.

Contests are okay, but frequent updates are important in this case, otherwise, the thread will die slowly.
