I personally think that this is an amazing question as it is so hard to answer and almost everyone has different answers and thoughts of it. The reason that I find it so interesting is because the fact that, yes, if you let your friend destroy the world then they will die too, but there is also the fact that all the lives of many other men, woman and children is in your responsibility.

Kill and the worlds inhabitants, including yourself, would be saved. Hide from it and the whole of the Earths inhabitants, including you, ends and it would all be because of your own selfish reasons. Kill and you will live the rest of your life, that you made possible to live, as a murderer and hold the regret of killing your dearest relation. Do not kill and the entire of Earths population will perish.

Hmm, this is indeed a hard but interesting question.
I would do it, if I would save a lot of people. And I probably would not bear it if my friend will be the one to destroy the world. As a friend/family member, it would be my responsibility to not let them do something as evil as that.

So my answer is, yes, I would kill someone dear to me if s/he would destroy the world but I will kill myself afterwards. I deserve it afterall.

I would make my friend perish for the greater of mankind. Because I don't want to die and I don't think this world needs to be change.
Or the world doesn't need major changes and the world perishing would be a major change. The world does need minor changes, but that could be solved with words and if people took time to calm down maybe we wouldn't have to fight so much.
So yes I would kill my friend to save mankind. For two reasons, I don't want to die and I don't think this world needs a major change.

It very much depends on the loved one. Most I know wouldn't mind dying because they died for a good cause of epic proportions, at least one wouldn't want to and would be so flippant about it I'd probably kill them out of sheer irritation, and one I don't honestly know how they or I would react.

If they've committed serious crimes and they can't be rehabilitated, then give them capital punishment. You don't need to be a meth addict, but it probably doesn't help.

Normally, I wouldn't kill anyone and especially not someone I loved. But if I realized they were a waste of humanity and space, i'd have to weigh my options: that guy or the rest of the world. I'd probably choose the rest of the world.

If it was someone good who I loved, I don't know what i'd do, to be honest.

It really depends on whether mankind deserves it or not. If they are just selfish people that want nothing but greed and lust in their lives, then I wouldn't. And even if they did deserve to be saved, I wouldn't be able to kill a loved one. But to quote the great Homer Simpson, I'd probably say something like "Can't someone else do it".

Nope. Wouldn't kill anyone i cared about if life is just gonna stay as is after their death. Now if something good happened, like end world hunger or something, than maybe we can talk about who. But if their death only means the world/humans keep going as they are? Nah "death is only the begining". Humans have been around a while and look at the mess we've made already. ^^;

If i'd really love the person, then i couln't do it even if i wanted to. I'm a person that's terrified of death to anyone, so that would dead difficult to me.
But it actually really depends on a situanion, because you can analyze and analyze, but when you get to that point, you just do on a whim, because no one is there to wait for you..
