[1] I originally wanted to go with, Will I make it in time? / I hope I'll make it in time, but the context isn't very clear.

[2] What I'm reading from this is that people would rather pollute the sky with airplanes with travelling to see their loved ones, but it's not so obvious just from the lyrics themselves. I wonder if there's a way to translate this better...

[1] I think you're right that it's better to leave it a bit vague.

[2] I'm not quite sure where you're getting "rather than" out of "くらいなら"? And I think the grammatical connection is more "ほんとの孤独に凍えるくらいなら / 人はこんなに残酷になる" than "ヒコーキ空を汚してく / ほんとの孤独に凍えるくらいなら," if that makes sense. I'm really tired right now and can't quite put that together into a coherent alternative-translation suggestion, but something to take a look at, at least.

[3] Well, "背中押せ" usually doesn't literally mean to push someone's back but to support them/encourage them, so you could try doing something with that? Though to get something that doesn't sound a little awkward you'd have to take a fair amount of license and say something like "spur your soul on" or whatever.

[2] You're right, I was trying to find a way to sort of connect those sentences and not have ヒコーキ空を汚してく stand on its own (it doesn't really fit in). I can't think of anything either, I'l have to give it more thought.

I think I'd have 気づいてみせる as, "I'll become aware of it" (since みせる suggests something hasn't happened yet/will happen in the future, or rather, someone will make it happen).

Here's my interpretation for this bit:

"Why does it seem like I'm moving away from my ideal?
Airplanes are polluting the sky.
If they have no other choice but to shiver in true loneliness,
Humans/people [can] become this cruel/as cruel as this."

守られてたんだ　暗闇に/暗闇に守られてたんだ = I was protected by the darkness (see how it's に～守られてたんだ, and not 守ってくれた or something like that).
