Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

Even when this virus craze goes away in the near or distant future, the advent of some other deadly thing threatening humanity will be strutting in.
Wash your hands daily and, to prevent inhalation of it, run far, far away if someone near you coughs.

My Wi-Fi, it's gone out . . .
China reported on the outbreak in December. US intel reported in early January that the Chinese report was not thorough, but the situation was worse than what China said. Trump didn't want to make Xi angry, so he ignored the "Deep State" intel professionals -- up to a week ago. Way to go, Mr. President.

What happens when it's election time later this year and we're down to two candidates, if any? Could Trump be the first POTUS to hold office twice because of the alarming coronavirus issue?
My Wi-Fi, it's gone out . . .
Under the Constitution, Trump's first term ends at noon, January 20. If there is no elected President, I would think the Speaker of the House would take over.

Pence's term ends as well.
As far as I am concerned, the sooner the better. We don't need all the self-centerness and dysfunction right now.

We have a "rock star" President, who does as he pleases. Conveniently, he's virus-free. And us? Battling against it from a seemingly bottomless economic pit. With the way things are going, a reelection for the Prez is just around the corner.

About a week ago, I got an e-mail from Comcast saying they are doing all they can to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. What a relief! I was afraid to catch the bug through my TV cable.

Increased deaths, packed hospitals, makeshift hospitals, group gatherings even though people were told to stay home, no date on when it's safe to go outdoors, a fed-up society - we are suffering as a world.

You can go outdoors. Just maintain a distance from everybody else.

^ I can think of a few one-liner responses to that. But under the circumstances, they aren't appropriate.

Although I accept the evidence that it is indeed a pandemic, my opinion of COVID-19 remains unchanged . Despite my own view, I am, for the sake of others, socially distancing myself according to the directions set by my government, mandated around 23rd March, which are as follows:
Stay at home
Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)
If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times
Wash your hands as soon as you get home
Do not meet others, even friends or family.
Just wondered if anyone else here is getting the same treatment in their own country? Also more details pertaining to the aforementioned can be found here.
Anyway, with or without those directions I don't see (and will never see) the sense in panicking in any crisis or making decisions based on fear. Besides, I think that kind of response only plays into the hands of those who are capitalising off this virus, especially the media, fake charities, and probably particular societies who indulge in wet dreams of creating a new world order - and a pandemic such as COVID-19 could be used in many ways to justify such a future. Then there's the media, who seem more concerned with reporting events that serve only to incite fear and panic as opposed to events that question the origin of COVID-19. It's almost as if they don't want to look for the truth because the truth might expose them for the complicit entity it has become.
Well I'm having none of it. As far as I'm concerned, information given by the media is poison and I'd rather do my own research in looking into the events that led to COVID-19 than listen to that noise. For example, I find it interesting that many citizens of Wuhan suffered from Coronavirus symptoms around the same time that Huawei's 5G was switched on in that city, and that the Chinese government (CCP) initially suppressed information pertaining to what is now officially considered a pandemic. Of course, the media would praise the Chinese government for its draconian response; but it could be argued that this response might have been less severe and more effective had the Chinese government been upfront about the incident and alerted the rest of the world before it got out of control. Personally I suspect that once the Chinese government realised they could no longer hide the virus from other countries, they did a U-turn for fear of being caught, and then projected its fear onto its own people (whom I feel deeply sorry for) in a manner that would appear to the media as taking effective measures. By the way, this the same government that had the audacity to blame the US and then Italy for this virus. One more thing: Why do you suppose they call it COVID-19 and not say, the Wuhan Virus or Chinese Flu? After all, names like "Spanish Flu" and "German Measles" are officially accepted as valid names for deadly viruses; but heaven forbid we use a term that might offend the Chinese government! I mean come on - it's not like western countries rely on China for the manufacturing of essential ingredients for generic drugs so must play nice with the Chinese government or risk having their supplies held to ransom. Oh wait...
Believe me when I say that I'm not trying to underplay COVID-19 though. It's certainly not to be underestimated in terms of how easily it is spread from person to person - that much is clear. But I know a distraction when I see one, and I think what people should really be worried about is the inevitable economic transformation that will be rolled out across the world post COVID-19. Some sources have gone so far as to compare COVID-19 to a war - not just because both have death and economic collapses in common, but also because of the economic transformations that tend to follow them, resulting in more and more power centralised in the hands of fewer and fewer people - resulting in something like, I dunno, a tyrannical superstate like the EU. Other sources I looked into suggest that the elite (for want of a better term) planned to deliberately crash the world economy around 2020 like they did in 2008 except on a much larger scale. I wouldn't want to speculate on that but if that's true then COVID-19 would be a convenient way to cover up their economic mismanagement as people will likely think that the world economy crashed because of COVID-19 (and not because world economies are conceptually flawed and mostly controlled by psychopaths).
I dunno why, but I get the impression that most people aren't concerned with a future in which all cash transfers are banned, vaccines are mandatory, natural births are deemed illegal, and martial law is normalised as the police because entire populations have succumbed to media-driven fear and are afraid of facing another COVID-19, and so will gladly sacrifice freedom for security based on a problem that was avoidable to begin with. By now I don't know why anyone in the right mind would think that their government gives a damn about them or public health considering the mountain of historical evidence proving otherwise. For one thing, if they really cared, they wouldn't allow greedy corporations to roll out a technology such as 5G to largely populated countries without proper testing; nor would they support a trade system by which essential ingredients for vital medicines are outsourced to a single country, and one with a poor humanity record at that.
I'd like to think that when we come out of this we'll look deep inside ourselves and ask if the consumerist lifestyles we covet is worth the cost; because COVID-19 isn't just some alien that came out of nowhere; it is a consequence of a global economy run by people who live at the expense of others, and we're as much to blame for effectively supporting it. I really, really hope we learn from this pandemic and wise up; but then again, the human race has never had a good track record of learning from history.

Is it a deception, are the numbers underestimated or overstated? What difference will it make to you if you die? Just like that? I think that you need to at least adhere to the rules, even if its hard, but itll be dead anyway. Interesting fact: I noticed that even more problems with aiming arise when my computer slows down, in the sense it doesnt work well enough, so using one of these updaters can be useful enough to improve the gaming experience. Pay attention to the pro version, their price varies from 10 to 50 dollars.

Is anyone watching the daily White House briefings? I was, until I got sick of listening to all of Trump's lies.

Some unconventional research suggests that most contagions happen in developed cities with 4G/5G network coverage.
Somehow, either these microwaves help propagate the virus into the air or, most likely, (with the help of heavy metals that we inhale) lowers the efficiency of the immune system.
Whatever is happening, they're definitely running test on us with these unnecessary 5G coverages (4G was already enough). I heard phone companies here requested that trees in urban area be cut down because they "absorb their signal", which is creepy enough to hear; just think of what they can do to living beings.
I feel I've been preparing for this my whole life.
CDC: proper hand washing Me: LOL CDC: social distancing Me: Level expert
I woke up this morning feeling achy, a bit disoriented, sweaty, and breathing irregularly. In other words, I feel normal.

Turns out it's a false alarm. There is no virus. We were sheep, believing lies from coronavirus "experts." The numbers also lie. Don't need a hospital bed 'cause mine is cozy. I've been mask-less (ish) since March. No illness. The media is profiting from an unraveling web of untruths.
Urgent: Next we'll finally see who the Illuminati are, Kiss-style. They're also nonexistent. But people are so paranoid about anything that "Illuminati" sat in the back of the truck driven by the coronavirus.
