Manga Question ^^

I plan on writing a new book and drawing pictures for it. The writing part is just to look over and edit, etc. When I actually draw the manga, the writing in it will the be semi-revised version. But onto the question o.o I don't live in Japan, but my characters have Japanese names. My manga...should I have it right to left, or left to right? O.o or does it not matter?

thats funny. ive actually been working on doing the same thing myself over the past few weeks. been working on a story and started learning how to draw. lol

anyways.. it isnt a manga if its left to right. thats like a BIG characteristic of manga's, in the fact that you read it right to left. so i'd say stick with the traditional manga style

Really interesting question...I think that non-Japanese "manga" would read as a normal novel, left to right. The only reason Japanese manganese reads the way it does is due to translation and how it was originally published, to keep the authenticity of the media.

Plus, what kind of story are you working on?

I think it's better if you do it from right to left since that's how Japanese manga is read/created right?

But still, it is your choice.
