Red Dead Redemption 2 Officially Announced

UPDATE: Rockstar has officially confirmed the speculation, Red Dead Redemption 2 will launch Fall 2017. The first trailer will be released in two days on October 20, 2016 at 11 AM ET.

While it has yet to be officially announced, a sequel to Rockstar's hugely popular Red Dead Redemption may be on the way. The speculation began when Rockstar posted a red Rockstar logo. The next hint came 24 hours later- a Red Dead-like image of 7 figures on the horizon.

While no official news aside from the two subtle hints has been released, a supposed map for the game has been leaked, showing the game to possibly take place in the same general area as the first game. However, the map is quite a bit larger, expanding to the East. The game is rumored to be set before the first game.



Anyway, RDR was a great game and I've been looking forward to a sequel for a long time. Here's hoping the teasing isn't for nothing.

I loved the first one! Actually cried at the ending. I watched my friend play most of it, it looked fun but damn some missions where too boring.
