Hi, I'm not too sure how to go about making an introduction, so I guess I'll just tell you a little bit about myself and then you can welcome me as you see fit.
My name is Rayleigh and I am 15-years-old, I was born in San Diego, CA. Since July of last year I have moved to the United Kingdom - the reason was my dad received a job offer.
I half Native American on my mom's side and half Turkish on my father's, though my father renounced his citizenship to claim an American passport. Both my cultures have a moderate influence on my life, but to many people's surprise my life is not influenced by my culture religiously speaking. Many modern Native Americans either practice Christianity or traditional Native American beliefs, but my mom is a practicing Buddhist. I found it interesting so I started it, too. My dad lightly exercises Muslim beliefs, but he isn't strict. He only really prays during Ramadan.
I suppose that one interesting thing about me is that I've skipped a grade. In the States I would have apparently skipped two, but in the UK they rarely entitle students to move up by even one grade - so I suppose it is an honor. My best subjects are theoretical Physics and English literature.
Other than all of that I have one hobby that I practice regularly, as you might have guessed already, - I practice Karate.
I guess that is all there is to say.
Thanks for reading.
