What's The Most Frustrating Thing About Anime to You?

It depends, really. If it's a new one currently airing, then it would be when we have to wait for new episodes - I don't like to wait (especially if the previous episode ends on a cliffhanger).
Another one could be when there's an anime that was hella good, but it doesn't have another season.

The most frustrating thing is that a lot of series could have lasted longer. I just finished watching High School Of The Dead...that series could have used at least 24 episodes. Spiral and Skip Beat should have had more episodes, although I can get the Skip Beat manga at the library. Even Zatch Bell could have used more episodes to see who won the battle for the king.

1. Really good 12 episode animes... want more but usually 12e is it.
2. Anime that bring shame to it's original (manga). (cof cof Naruto)
3. When you start to watch new anime, which seems to be great but it's not fully released yet, so you have to wait for a week or so for the next episode.
4. Tits for plot anime.

The most frustrating thing about anime to me is that there are times where fanservice is heavily prioritized. Another thing is that when you start to watch an anime and it has really good potential but ends up failing your expectations as the show progresses.

One thing that I hate is when a sub-plot is left unresolved. Bleach was full of these. For example, how was the conflict between Uryuu and his father resolved? And in the Waco Mundo arc, how did Rukia get out from under Aisen's hypnotic influence? And what happened to that kid she supposedly killed?

Anime where a male character accidentally touches a girl's breasts or any other intimate part and gets hit by the girl in an over the top way with anything and gets flown away.
Seriously, I'm extremely tired of that trope.

I'm with you on the first part. Maybe I will start a thread on that, unless someone else does first.

But not faithful to the adaptation? I think you mean not faithful to the original material (manga, game, novel, movie). I have had this argument with others. Anime is a different medium than manga. If an anime varies from the original story, who cares as long as the new story is still a good one?

1.) When a really good anime only gets a new season every 2 to 3 years. Even if it's insanely popular and even if there is so much more story left in the manga for at least an OVA or movie. I why are they doing this? I can never understand. I'm still waiting for another season of Haruhi Suzumiya... it's what got me hooked on anime after all.

2.) When they choose absurd names for the characters (Eren Degeneres/Jaeger). I kinda prefer that they stick with japanese names, it's way cooler. Dot Pixis?? Come on! What the heck names a character Dot? haha

3.) When they spend half of the episode talking about whose breasts are bigger.

4.) When they make female characters useless and weak and just for the eye candy and filler episode. Like Sakura and Inoue among the few.

But that's just me.

Anyway, it's always worth it when you manage to find a really good anime/manga. The good outweighs the bad stuff
