5'9'' or ~ 175cm
Less is more.
I'm 165 cm.
This page says it's around 5,4 feet.
I hope it's right, because I have no idea. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I am 6'2", or (if I'm correct), 184 cm
180 cm
idk how much in inches ..
i am 6'7
I am 1.66 m or 5"4 (I hope that was converted right)
I'm 5 ft 4 in
Short and sweet, my friends call me.
I can only post one day a week. ...Phooey.
On the conversion thing. I think there is some confusion here between decimal feet and the more common foot + inches format. Unlike in the metric system, where everything is related by factors of ten, there are 12 inches in a foot.
So if someone says they are "six two" they don't mean they are 6.2 feet tall, they mean they are six feet (72 inches) plus two inches for a total of 74 inches in height, which converts to right about 188 cm.
When I went out on google it looked like this
I don't get it. ╮(─▽─)╭

You mean when people in here are writing either ' or . (for example 6.2 or 6'2)?
Which is feet and which is inches? (so I know when trying to convert it to cm).
Not sure I feel that much wiser though :> (it's because of the english, makes it harder for me). Threads like this, when people asks about others heights, are always making me feeling so confused. To be honest I don't really get why people still use different kinds of measurement scales, feels like such a waste since it's meant for misunderstandings.

@SuXrys it really is bizarre. the base ten metric system just makes sense. Like WTF is a gallon? who really thought that was necessary and useful? same with miles. 5280 feet in a mile, why? what makes sense about that?
Now lets look at metric. Anyone care to guess how many meters are in a kilometer? Answer is you dont have to guess the name itself tells you. just one of many examples of the simplicity of metric.
Like languages, we're generally all annoyed at the differences and wish everyone would use the same one...specifically ours as opposed to theirs.
Although I think we're moving towards consistancy on both fronts. Sort of. Language wise it seems like English use continues to spread, but other languages are trying to edge in on it.
Similarly the MKS varient of the metric system is gaining predominance. However on the edges of research the conversions and units used are possibly getting crazier as people make up new stuff to suit them or develop shorthand (like measuring energies in terms of length because they assume you know they're talking about photons).
In any case I'm hoping someday we all use generally the same units and talk about them in English.
Most "imperial" units relate to various inventions or other practicalities.
For example the Fahrenheit scale is the way it is because of considerations Dr. Fahrenheit had when trying to develop it, such as being able to make tick marks on a thermometer accurately by bisecting the previous marks (so he wanted 2^6 = 64 degrees between a typical body temperature and where water freezes).
I shouldn't have to explain "feet".
They stick around because people are used to them, but also because sometimes they're still practical. i.e. a gallon is about the size a lot of people would like to buy liquids in because of the size and weight of that much water. A "barrel" as a unit (i.e. for oil) is because of, well, the barrels that were popular.
Actually now I'm curious. What sort of containers does milk come in for you metric landers? Do you guys use the term "dozen" or has that been tossed out along with the inch (which meant 1/12th of something, generally used with the foot).

I appreciate the insight @sunnyside
I realize my distaste for the imperial units is not without exception. I like Fahrenheit it seems more precise and a better description of actual weather temps but im biased because its all i use.
I imagine the europeans use liters to buy milk (we have gallons of milk and 2 liters of pop explain that one! haha)
But i will say that disagree with the practicality of feet gallons and the like. how are those units more practical than metric? US uses them simply because the nation has proven several times that it is entirely resistant to change if for no other reason than it is difficult.
