Anyone else watching One Punch Man?

This series is currently on Adult Swim/Toonami in the US. It is turning out to be a pretty good dumb, but fun anime. You have a hero who is a complete nebbish, until called upon to defeat some super powerful enemy. And then he takes the bad guy out with one punch. The rest of the series pretty much lampoons the genre.

I like the occasional comedy, but I am not the kind of person who laughs out loud at the jokes. With One Punch Man, I am laughing.

Anyone else been watching?

Yeah I watched the subbed version back when it was airing, loved it. Had better ratings than Breaking Bad on IMBD at ne point haha. I really want a season 2 tbh, but they have Mob Pyscho 100 airing right now which is made by the creators of OPM, same art style and everything, haven't watched it yet, but I'm gonna binge it when it ends.

I think season 2 is coming out this year, which would be grand. Saw it while it was airing originally, and yeah, it's really a lot of fun.

If you post your review here, I will look at it when it finishes its run on Toonami. Maybe it is predictable, but that is part of the point. It is a satire and a spoof. It makes fun, in an affectionate manner, of anime stereotypes we have seen before. It's a great series, sort of what I call dumb, but fun. But does anyone really watch it for the story?

Dropped it. Plus, the computer I use has a slow connection, so loading an episode is too much of a journey. Sorry, One Punch Man. I'll see you on Adult Swim or Toonami when I get decent cable again.

You had better hurry up with getting decent cable. AS/T has a habit of not re-running most of their anime series. Then again, you may get lucky if they do repeat One Punch Man. If you get on-demand, you may be able to see the series.

Woah, if one punch man is up on Toonami then Mob Psycho 100 is sure to follow soon. Can't wait for that to get as much acknowledgement as one punch since it was even better :o

Watched it as it was produced~Then bought my sister the first season box set for her birthday straight from Japan right after; cause she was the one who got me into it-and she LOVED it before it was even turned into a manga. When it was just a web comic. xDD It is an amazing series, though.

I think Mob Psycho has not met my expectations......Maybe because of its storyline or something that I feel lacking....

Funnily enough, I was at a bookstore the other day, and in their manga section there were copies of the One Punch Man manga. Didn't read much of it, though, since I was manga-hopping. Speaking of which, there were soooo many volumes of Bleach, lol!

Only seen bits of pieces of the anime. Saw only an episode of One Punch Man and loved it... ehhh, before the Wi-Fi slowed down. lol
