Actually this is a very exciting fall for me! I will be going into the final semester of my undergrad. I will also be looking into taking the GRE (hopefully) and begin volunteer work with CASA. I will also be deciding on a grad program. Arizona state is at the top of my list, but... I am having difficulty choosing between Forensic Psychology and the degree in social work. The degree in Forensic Psychology would only take a year but it would not give me any liscensure. The one in social work I have to have 240 hours of volunteer work before I can even apply. It takes two years to complete. Must do two 600 hour internships and take 2 national exams, ...once I graduate I have to do 700 hours of supervised practice before I can practice on my own. I really really want to do the social work one but, forensic psychology would probably be more practical. I also have to get letters of recommendations from my previous professors and do applications while preparing for conferment. Its going to be a very busy fall.
My narcissistic side, however, is happy for the fall photo-op on rivers with different color leaves. I am sure everybody will be happy around the house because of the temperature drops, and my soul is happy for the return of pumpkin spice.
Halloween. I cannot be patient enough!!

^ Forbidden Planet! Right?
Inspired by William Shakespeare's The Tempest, Forbidden Planet went on to inspire Gene Roddenberry, Steven Spielberg, and George Lucas.
It starred Walter Pidgeon, Anne Francis, and a dark haired Leslie Nielsen. And in bit parts, future TV stars Jack Kelly and James Drury. Remember them? No? Oh, well.

Anyone ready for it?!!
