Missed it by a mile, I see. I'm fluent in English, Korean, and Russian. Three very opposite languages in terms of the grammar. I know, being a Korean who grew up overseas is one thing and growing around awesome ex-USSR folks is another.

I'm also a zombie because I'm feeling rather depressed because you know, living in South Korea is quite depressing. And re-sparking my interest in anime is one of my remedies for my "Korean-induced" depression. And I joined here.

And nowadays, the manhwa sene here in Korea is all about online yon-koma strips. Things changed quite a lot here in Korea.

EDIT: And there's a strongly negative atmosphere of the anime scene once again since 2011-ish.

Ah that's a shame. I know tidbits of Korean and Russian, but not near enough to make a decent conversation with. Having ex-USSR pals definitely sounds awesome though. I can imagine the stories some of them have.

What are some of the anime that you've been watching lately by the way?

Numerous. Mostly old reruns between 1998 and 2010 of various genres. I really can't pinpoint them out.
