Recommend me some anime!

I know it's frowned upon for recommendations threads to be created when we already have a dedicated one but my posts hasn't received any replies as that thread isn't viewed as much as the General Forum and it has been a month.
Last year I went into an anime watching marathon and thus ran out of ideas of which one to check out next so for this year I've just been rewatching older ones.

Angel Beats - surprised this wasn't on your list
if you really like comedy and action give Gintama another try takes a bit but then gets really good
bakuman - give it a try it isn't close to any of those but I think it is worth watching

if you don't mind trying something different check out Major S1. I myself am not a bit sports fan but the anime is really good.

okay now these 2 animes that i'm going to recommend they are sports anime
one being football/soccer and the other a baseball anime.
now bear with me just because you may not like these sports doesn't mean that your not going to enjoy them because i never thought i would enjoy one of them purely because it was about baseball but luckily i gave it a go because it is one of my favorite anime ever.

1. Giant killing. (Football/Soccer)
2. One outs. (Baseball)

Okay now what i liked mainly about there 2 anime is that the main protagonists are really cool especially the main character from one outs he's just an outright badass just amazed me with how the creator came up with some of the ideas man.
So i hope you give both of them a go trust me even though you don't know me you definitely won't regret taking your time out watching there 2 especially one outs.

When They Cry and Ano Hana have been in my To Watch list but I keep on forgetting haha. When I read the synopsis for Angel Beats it seemed really interesting but also forgot. Will definitely try them out - thanks!

I heard of most of these anime but forgot to watch or never really bothered - will try them out now. I enjoyed Gintama but lately I've been in the mood for a serious series so I've had it on hold and never continued but will watch again. I've read Usagi Drop so I plan to watch that too, just going to wait a bit since it's still fresh in my mind.
I've never heard of Major S1 or Touch so I'll try them out, never really tried a sports anime so it should be fun. Thanks!

I never seen a sports anime but read a bit of Eyeshield 21 so I'll definitely try both out. I think I remember seeing One Outs in the popular manga categories so I'll read it also. Thanks!

Well it depends where exactly you last left off in Gintama but it has a lot of serious moments especially way later in the anime. Although it still is mostly just comedy and parodies xD.
