Also , if you like building troops , then i bet you would like Supreme Commander 1. That and Mount and Blade: Warband , which combines RPG with strategy elements , and has the most awesome Multiplayer in history.

I agree when it comes to graphics cards, but when it comes to CPU's Intel is way ahead. I am running an AMD 1100T and regret not going with a sandy bridge when I built this box =(. Graphics wise I would go with an AMD 6950, you can unlock it and turn it into a 6970 as it's the same hardware, just needs a bios flash. That said, AMD is good enough for a casual gamer, I still run everything maxed and get good fps in all games I play (Rift, MW2, Tribes).

I did think about doing so, but i had already tried Amd and ati before when building a friends pc, and wanted to look at the other end of the spectrum. I can honestly say that i found that not only does intel and nvidia seem to have a better output, it also gave me less problems.
