I know this is pretty random, but I was wondering if anyone goes to any of the gay prides? c:
I went to the Middlesbrough one last year and I loved it
This year I am going to the Newcastle one :3
Is anyone else going? I'm just curious xD

Yes and no. I think everybody should simply be proud of who they are; regardless of orientation or identity.

Don't worry. Depopulation will happen naturally. Consider the following;

Those born with top genes will be smarter and stronger than the rest. They will migrate to large population hubs, where the better jobs are, while the rest will settle in rural communities. They will predominantly mate within their regions, which will cause a festering of these bad genes in the outlying areas. Within several generations, we will begin to see abnormal births in these rural areas, and eventually mutations and still-births. At first, these events will be intermittent, but accelerate quickly. We, as humans, will see a quick decline in our population world-wide. The government does not need to help.

I'm guessing you people don't go out much, nor keep up with current events, except for what involves your useless otaku interests. In today's, martial law enforced US, you can get shot by authority just for being at a human rights activity, but you get their full coverage if you're involved in a gay rights campaign. Now, unless you're pretending to be mentally retarded by acting so smart, you'd realize what this means: that by going at these parades, you're just playing their game.
As for the rest of you, don't think that supporting homo-trans-mental-sexual anomalies will make you look smarter, because you can't fool me with your pseudointellectual jibba-jabba.

I think you're being a bit unfair and over-generalizing me based on one post. I am a proponent for critical thinking. Anime is a very minor part of my life. Again, nothing I said discredits anything you said, and nothing you said discredits anything I said. We were making very different and distinct arguments. Both of what we have said so far is true. So where's the argument?

As for support. If you read my original post again, I think you'll see I wasn't specifically in support of any kind of "movement" at all. People should just be happy about who they are, period, and forget all the marches and parades. Promoting awareness if fine, as long as it isn't over-sensationalized.
