How big is your backlog?

Including Steam, it's pretty big, and that's including games I already beat on console. Excluding those, it's still big.

I personally want to clear a lot of my backlog before I get, or rather buy, any new games this year. Granted the ones I gotta do for review/steaming are gonna get in the way but I won't be getting any games for fun-fun until I finish my backlog. I got like 7 games (4 for free) that released this month and only was able to complete 3 as well, but will probably be 4 by the end of the month, so that's not bad. As for March, Pokken Tournament, The Division, Twilight Princess HD, Black Desert Online (possibly free) and Hitman (possibly free).. So yeah, this might be more difficult than I thought but I still plan not to get much games and complete the ones I already have.

I bought like 7 games during Black Friday and I only played two of them, and one of them had a bigger sale recently so that's money I could've saved. I sold one of them since I didn't like it (Need for Speed) and made my money back though. I will probably try to beat those first in the beginning of April, since Uncharted 4 releases April 26th. EDIT: Oh wait, Quantum Break releases early April...lmao. But I can tackle that really easy.

So I think starting July, since it's the summer drought, it's when I will start not getting much games and already finish the games I already have, or at least try to tackle half of my backlog.

So again, how's big is your backlog and do you plan on tackling it any time soon?

Mine is huuuuge.

I can't help myself when Steam has sales and buy a bunch of games, then I end up not playing most of them for months. I must have 10+ games I need to finish, not even counting the ones I haven't started.

Not sure when I'd even be able to start on trying to clear it up lol I haven't been in a gaming mood for a while now.

As a hardcore gamer, you will always have a backlog and will want the latest games as well, or at least the hyped ones among your community (which is always plenty for me). This is going to be pretty hard. Makes me wish I was more casual, not be interested in much, and only get like 1-2 games a year, but that already sounds crazy lmao. Of course is very possible to be responsible with your gaming purcahses without reaching those extremes.

Imma try to stick to this though and be more responsible with my gaming purchases. I still should be able to play/get as many games per year anyway.

90% of the games I have on Steam I bought and never played.

I mean, maybe some time before 2020 I will actually get around to playing Shovel Knight lmao. I am so filthy ._.

Yeah.. I can't help myself when it comes to game sales xD Any game that I want that goes on sale, I usually end up getting immediately. It's kind of a problem lol

But now that I've completed my list of shows I wanted to watch, I'll probably playing games a lot more within the upcoming weeks. I also really enjoy getting all the achievements ^^

I only buy games I intend to actually play. Even if the deal is good.

I mean there's a few games in my inventory I haven't played much of; but I've tested out every game I've purchased to an extent before shelving it.

I have about 40 Titles in my backlog at the moment. Due to my limited time to play. I usually always just settle for 2 hours of Multiplayer on whatever COD is out or Destiny, and then turn it off.

Mine is still pretty big, but I'm slowly and surely slogging my way through it. Only problem is that I'm rarely able to keep up with newer titles, so by the time I'm able to afford it, something else that I'm hyped for gets released right around the corner. I can never win!
