VI.
That's really where I saw the series peak.
For me it all went down from there with only IX being all that memorable.

FFX. It just had a really good grinding system.

And there were a lot of side-missions that were neat. I really like it when games put things in that aren't part of the story or necessary to progress further in the game, but are still there to increase playability value.

Plus, it had some of the best monsters (in my opinion).

FFX wins the golden ticket for me by a LONG shot. Dono why but it just somehow worked for me. The others are all great with excellent story lines and awsome gameplay but overall i still think FFX is the best 1 on both fronts.

VII, IX, XII

VII- My first RPG probably played it ten times by now. Just to me the story standard I hold games too

IX- Nice change of pace. It was good to get back to where FF came from with the class system.

XII- Didn't care for the story so much as the playability. Getting all the espers and beating Yiazamt along with Omega MK XII took forever but it kept my boredom at bay.

Hmm it's a tough choice between VIII, X, or XII

I think VIII wins it for me because it was the first one i played so it holds a little sentiment for me XD

XIII wins for me. Fell in love with it so much I stopped study for an entire semester of college.

1] Final Fantasy VII, because: "Shut up! Sit your a** down in that chair and drink your g***n TEA!", "This guy are sick.", and because Cloud had to dress up like a girl.

2] Final Fantasy VIII, because: "...Chicken wuss." and "...Whatever."

3] Final Fantasy X, because: Lulu: "If you want everything, you'll end up with nothing." Tidus: "But I want everything!"

Final Fantasy VI is the best

VI: First Final Fantasy I played; so with the above mentioned, certain sentimental value

VIII: Used to be 7, until the over commercialization happened. But 8 really was something, spent most of my time playing that card game tho

XII: Don't care what anyone else says, I thought the story was awsome! The gameplay was really cool too, especially the battle system. I love how the fights took place on the map, without going into a "random battle" setting. Fealt like an online game that way, without playing for 900 straight hours with no end in sight
