I might be wrong, but - 夜明け前に　輝かない命はない is translated as [Before daybreak, there is no glittering life], but should, in fact be: Before daybreak, there is no life which won't glitter/sparkle.

Yes, I agree--it looks to me like the translator just had one of those spacy moments (uh, no pun intended) and missed that the modifying verb was negative. I'll change that.
