Here you can post stuff you think should not be at conventions. So far, I've been at two conventions this year, and sometimes, I'm reminded of my pet peeves when I'm there.
1] Critical/Judgmental people towards cosplayers.
This is my biggest pet peeve at conventions. These are people that think you must fit the character 100%, and not be fat, ugly, or look like a total nerd to cosplay. I like the skinny sailor moon AND the chubby sailor moon. The cosplayers are there to have fun, not to be judged. Those naysayers should have spent their money on something else instead of a convention badge.
2] People using live steel as props.
By live steel, I mean real blades that are out of their sheaths. Seriously, I think I saw 5 people with real katanas walking around the con. To me, this is like walking in a convenient store with a live firearm. Put those things back in their sheath! I don't care how skilled you are with a blade, it is still an obvious hazard to people around you.
3] Blocking traffic.
Conventions are a cesspool of like-minded people, so I always expect several thousand otaku every time I attend one. Because of the huge attendance, many traffic ways are blocked by poorly placed gatherings, photo taking, and people standing and talking. It should not bother me that much, but sometimes it does, especially when I am on a hurry somewhere. I mean, the traffic flow is so obvious, but people still block them. Sometimes, I "force" my way through or say excuse me to people. Seriously though, get the fudge outta the way!
