Anime Musicals

First off, I don't mean live action ones.

Anyway. Has this thought crossed anyone's mind before? Disney creates basically every movie of theirs into a musical, I think it would be really cool if there were some anime musical movies. Especially since anime creates more emotion for me than Disney movies do. Anyone else have any thoughts on this? I mainly posted because I was listening to a song and thought it would fit in an anime really well lol. Makes me wish I could draw really good haha, I would diffidently create one.

Hmhh so you'd like an anime that is actually a musical. Without human actors?

I don't think i'd like that to be honest.

Well obviously you would have to like musicals to like it. But why not? I don't see what is bad about it.

Hmhhehh, although im not a big fan of musicals. Sometimes i think they're quite enjoyable to watch.

But i just don't think that if you mix together 2 things that are both great, that you'll get something great in return.
I like musicals because there are human actors that play the parts.

Although this is only my opinion and yours could be ofcourse entirely different. And if it is. Please try to explain to me why you would like it alot.

There are not real people in Disney musicals, but those are still good. The song Somewhere by Nataliya Gudziy (From Persona Trinity Soul) would fit in the movie The Place Promised In Our Early Days if the girl main character Sayuri started to sing it.... Basically all I can give you is examples of songs and scenarios. I just mean sometimes when I hear a song it reminds me of an anime and then I picture that song being sung in the anime by a certain character. Any of Hayao Miyazaki's movies like Spirited Away could be musicals. Howl's Moving Castle could also be a musical. Joe Hisashi makes beautiful original scores to Hayao Miyazaki's movies, and having lyrics to the songs sung by the anime characters would make sense.

Alright alright, but do you want the songs to be sung by the actual voice actors? Or would it be okay for you if it was just sung beautifully by someone else?

They would have to get voice actors that could sing lol. Who knows though, maybe the ones that already do the voices can sing, we will never know lol.
