So, I've actually been so busy lately I almost forgot about this. Let's get started!
Serated vs. Zenister:
Serated: This one really gives off a trippy feel, although there could be more to express this feeling. It really seems to match the song lyrics given, being bold and to the point. It has great use of color, but it feels a bit empty. Although it does feel empty, the depth is great.
Zenister: The lyrics really fit this piece. The gradient on the text is actually pretty interesting and brings out the text. Nice job with keeping the text simple and not too complicated. It seems a bit saturated and has too much red, which should be toned down. The lighting could also be toned down too. The duo-tone accents this piece nicely.
This was a tough one for the judges. There was even one judge who voted neutral on this battle. Overall, the judges went with Zenister. They felt her style fit the theme well and that it was not overly done or underdone.
Daken vs. Marudashi:
Daken: This sig gives a powerful message, and the black and white makes this sig stand out from the rest. Unfortunately, the text takes away from the piece. It's hard to see AG.net, and there's virtually no space between AG.net and your lyrics. The text feels like it was just placed there with no thought. One suggestion was to have the "Oh why" in big cursive font and have the rest of the lyrics in smaller font.
Marudashi: This entry is very eyecatching with the slanted text and retro colors. The blending of the lyrics into the background and having the main lyrics out front was very well executed, although another judge feels that it would've been better with the song title only and made the background fun with graffiti.
Overall, the judges went with Marudashi for better placement of text.
