Breach of Wall Rose

 

It was morning, and the Scouts were heading through Trost District,
ready for their next venture outside the walls. The Garrison Regiment
had been luring the titans in the vicinity away to clear the path for the Survey Corps.
The uneasiness yesterday had somewhat subsided, and every soldier
was now focused on the task at hand.

One of the Garrison's men raised a hand, signalling that the gate was
ready to be opened. However, what happened next was the last
thing anyone expected.

There was a bright flash of lightning, and a blast of overpowering heat.
The ground shook and screams echoed throughout the district.
The Scouts at the base of the Wall looked at each other in panic,
knowing that this could only mean one thing...



After 5 years, the Colossal Titan had reappeared, and at the worst time imaginable.

"SCOUTS, SCATTER! Retreat from the Gate!" Someone roared.

The ranks gladly did so, fleeing backwards through the main street of Trost, nearly
trampling the panicked civilians in their own terror.

Not a moment later, the Colossal Titan's massive foot broke through
the gate, right where the entire Survey Corps had been just seconds before.
Debris went raining down across the whole district from the force
of the impact. Kuraokami was at the back of the group, and was knocked
off of his horse after being hit with a large chunk of bricks from the shattered gate.

He skidded painfully across the cobblestone path, and there was an
audible SNAP from his leg. He grimaced in agony, and attempted to lift
himself up. He pulled the trigger on his 3DMG so as to hook onto
one of the taller buildings for safety, but the wires were stuck.

A malfunction?!

He kept mashing the triggers frantically, but his strength was fading.
Pain radiated from his broken leg, and he collapsed onto a pile of rubble.
The sounds of footsteps grew louder behind him, and he turned around
to see a 12m Titan flinging itself at him, its huge mouth agape.

There was a quick, crunching pain as the Titan's teeth chomped down on
Kuraokami, and he felt nothing else.

The Titans have killed Kuraokami! He was [???]!

The Battle for Trost starts here...

Day Phase 3 has Begun!!

Within the Military Courtroom of Wall Rose, unaware of the recent
commotion, a single soldier stood, facing the Premier Darius Zackley.

"So you've requested dismissal from the Scout Regiment, is that correct?"
Zackley, looking down at his paperwork.

"Yes sir. I'm sorry, but after witnessing the Titan invasion first hand, I
would very much appreciate it if I could return home to my family."

Zackley reclined in his chair, and adjusted the brooch on his jacket.
"I see. Very well. From now on, you are hereby stripped of your ranks. Return your uniform and gear to your commanding officer.

Horrendous flashed a grateful salute, and was then escorted out of the room.

RyuTama [Darius Zackley] has dismissed horrendous! He was [???]!

Speaking of DP2..... I MIGHT have reached a conclusion as to why Aries wasn't lynched. It must be one of these things:
1: Aries is a townie and something prevented him from being lynched (whether he is Mikasa or not, I don't know)
2: Aries is a wolf or independent that is bulletproof (or something along the lines of that)
3: Someone with a protector role must have protected him (this one is highly unlikely, since I'm pretty sure abilities like that only work during night phase)

Well, I haven't had much time to come in lately. Honestly I'm not so much as suspicious of anyone (any more than usual with Wolf), but more so perplexed about folks. Foxy and Aries at the top of my list, Foxy because I asked her something, and have yet to get a response. Aries because he survived a lynching. With that in mind I'd like to ask those that voted for Aries why they did so, mainly because I'm caught between school (to include a mid-term) and here, and I don't want to waste too much time from school to go back and hunt down people's reasonings. 'Tis important I know, be so is knowing how to do proper resource leveling and risk management.
