It is not entirely "inappropriate". The only inappropriate part is that you have no credibility on the forum. Why don't you take a moment and introduce yourself in the Itroductions Category, and get your post count up and build some repore with other users and then share with us your Channel.
ok. I just wanted to make sure I didn't put my worst foot forward so to speak.
If you're here just to spam youtube videos (Your own or not), then we'll just delete everything.
If you wish to actually participate in the forum (even with the reviews), then we might work something out. But that will require more activity on your part then just constantly posting reviews. We already have a review section for anime and a sister site for reviews. So having them isn't a problem. We just want more from folks than video dumps and clickbait threads.
No! I just wanted to know before I posted it in my introduction!....sorry
I'll subscribe if you check out my twitch.

lol sub4sub
What scrubs.
This isn't a sub4sub, this is advertising your business to the masses in an attempt to get a higher widespread appeal. If you're not advertising your business to a variety of folks, why try? Most streamers/youtube uploaders advertise in different ways!
If you're not giving it your all, don't bother.
Anyway, I told him to follow if he liked the videos. Not just follow!

No. Advertising your "business" (not sure you're at that point of calling it a business, but sure) is only acceptable to a certain point. Past that, you let it grow naturally and without the need of telling people they should check out your channel. Those who usually go "I'll sub if you check out my channel" are usually the inexperienced ones just starting out, but then you realize that you gotta let people find you. No big streamer or Youtuber I know goes to forums and go "ayyyy check out my channel." If this was music, it would be a different, especially rap. It's harder to get out there so pestering people on comment sections is more acceptable.
Advertising only works when it's relevant to the thread and you post your own content before someone else posts theirs. Like if you record some new glitch or update or whatever, you know someone else is going to post theirs or someone else's so you might as well post yours. Who cares. Only situation that works. Reaching out to websites works as well.
But hey, he followed you so that's good.
Hopefully he actually watches you, though. Otherwise there's no point.
279 Twitch Followers is nice though, but how many are active per stream? Part of the reason I never tried Twitch is because YouTube is a lot easier and more efficient.
I followed you too, btw.

I would certainly think somebody with under fifty subscribers is just starting out because if you're under fifty then your widespread appeal is likely really low. Luckily, I've reached the point where I no longer need to rely on advertisement because my streams naturally draw crowds now!
Anyway, I didn't say every streamer/etc goes on forums and whatever to advertise their channel. I said they advertise in different ways which is a much different extreme. Heck, even saying "hit that follow button" at the end of videos is advertising the idea for people to follow you. Same with clickbait videos < They use clickbait titles for views.
Anyway, his follow isn't worthless even if he doesn't watch. Every follow is much appreciated and helps spread my growth further. Obviously, I wish he'd watch, though wanting it to happen won't make it happen. Plus, the amount of followers who watches my stream is constantly changing, but very much improving. If you want more details, ask one of my moderators.
I appreciate the follow! Though, just know I don't rely on subs4subs. Even joking, those rumors can kill a streamer. I just want my stream more widespread, though don't advertise it on forums and with other channels.
I very rarely do follows4follows unless we have plans to support our streams.
