I'm getting a 'just' feeling, too. If you think about it, 'us' is the ONLY thing it exists for,
so it does make sense (If that just made sense?).

Your interpretation looks fine to me.

"The monster with the gentle eyes awakens."
If there was a が in place of the を yours would be right.

Is what I think it means.

I think either one works fine. Though if I had to pick one, I'd lean toward 'strange', a bit more.
Also, my take for 触れていないのに感じる is something more like, "Even though I'm not touching it, I [can] feel it."

EDIT: Really like the addition of exclamation marks behind Celebrate- I would never have thought of that, and they make it look so much better.
