Has any anime ever scared you?

Another and Higurashi.
They were both good.
Another was maybe the only anime that really is horror. Higurashi was too creepy but good. I don't thnik I'll re-watch Higurashi. It's really hard to watch...

I think I have this sort of disconnect with anime, so I don't find horror anime scary. I think that the animation is generally not realistic enough for me to get scared.
Also, Higurashi does that strange thing with the girls' facial expressions, which just cracks me up! :P

Higurashi When They Cry. The only anime that has ever almost made me experience insomnia. The thing is I put myself in the main character's shoes and I was totally freaked out when I imagined me in his situation. Scared the grozit out of me, the psychological horror.

Another (Anime) was the only anime I've watched that came close to scaring me.
Only in the beginning, during the scenes in the hospital.

Other than that animation does not tend to scare me. At least none that I have viewed so far.

Hmmm well I have gotten by only a small hand full like higurashi no naku koro ni and Hadashi No Gen (I recommend you watch that last one a just get scared)

But yeah just how Foxy ^^^^^ put it animation isn't really that scary and I haven't seen one that has really scared me...

The only anime that has ever managed to scare me was Attack on Titan, and even then, it was only the first episode when the titans attacked... It creeped me out. ._.

Another. It was the first anime to actually give me nightmares. Attack on Titan also, but Another made me paranoid for a whole month. O_O

I've heard a few people mention this anime now. I'm not sure if you've ever seen Another, but I was told the concepts between these two were pretty similar and that Higurashi When They Cry is just overall better-developed and put Another to shame.
I'll definitely have to check this out.

I have seen Another. This might be a bit of a spoiler. Another is more to the gory side of horror. Higurashi, on the contrary, haunts your mind. The effect wouldn't be that distinct if (like I said) you don't put yourself into the show. I tend to that automatically do that when I watch shows.

No anime has really scared the **** out of me, but Another did get me paranoid. Umineko no naku koro ni also did that. Not to mention Serial Experiments: Lain (but that's because i was 12 when i watched it...)

An Anime has never scared me. But there was this strange moving Manga that scared the crap out of me. Something about a ghost lady looking for her baby, then she rushes the screen making a nasty clicking sound. *Quivers*
