    Default Itsumo Nando Demo

Here we go, newly registered and right into the thick of it..!

    http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/sen...onandodemo.htm
    http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/sen...onandodemo.jis

A correction which is hard to catch. Here are the lines, both romaji and kanji.

    "ikiteiru fushigi shindeiku fushigi
hana mo kaze mo machi mo minnaonaji"

    「生きている不思議 死んでいく不思議
    花も風も街も みんなおなじ 」

Now, if you watch a couple of videos, the subtitles would agree but, listen closely.

The reading of 「行く」is, as is common, mistransliterated to "iku" (「いく」) instead of "yuku" (「ゆく」) after "shinde" (「死んで」).

    I propose the following changes.

    http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/sen...onandodemo.htm

    "ikiteiru fushigi shindeyuku fushigi
hana mo kaze mo machi mo minna onaji"

    http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/sen...onandodemo.jis

    「生きている不思議 死んで行く不思議
    花も風も街も みんなおなじ 」

I don't see a furigana utility, but in this case it would be helpful as the reading for 行くasゆくis definitely uncommon enough to warrant such notation. And I am trying to slip a space between "minna" and "onaji" in as a sideband, because it makes sense.

    Cheers!

The official lyrics (http://www.kasi-time.com/item-4421.html) say いく, so I'm not changing the kanji, but I'll change the translit, since their purpose is mainly to allow people to sing along, so they should adhere more closely to what's sung when it's not the same as what's written. I'll put the space in "minna onaji" too.

it's common to write いく even in hiragana and sing it as yuku. i think it's because it's the same word and how you say it depends on the speaker: some people say iku and some yuku, and has nothing to do with meaning. since romaji is to help people follow and/or sing the song themselves, i prefer to make the romaji follow what's actually sung.

while i'm looking at it, there are lots of places where the transliterator stuck two words together. i think they should be separated:

yonde iru mune no dokoka oku de
itsumo kokoro odoru yume wo mitai

    kanashimi wa kazoe kirenai keredo
sono mukou de kitto anata ni aeru

kurikaesu ayamachi no sono tabi hito wa
tada aoi sora no aosa wo shiru
hateshinaku michi wa tsuzuite mieru keredo
kono ryoute wa hikari wo idakeru

sayonara no toki no shizuka na mune
zero ni naru karada ga mimi wo sumaseru

ikite iru fushigi shinde yuku fushigi
hana mo kaze mo machi mo minna onaji

yonde iru mune no dokoka oku de
itsumo nando demo yume wo egakou

kanashimi no kazu wo iitsukusu yori
    onaji kuchibiru de sotto utaou

tojite iku omoide no sono naka ni itsumo
    wasuretaku nai sasayaki wo kiku
konagona ni kudakareta kagami no ue ni mo
    atarashii keshiki ga utsusareru

hajimari no asa (no) shizuka na mado <-- why is "no" in brackets?
zero ni naru karada mitasarete yuke

umi no kanata ni wa mou sagasanai
kagayaku mono wa itsumo koko ni
watashi no naka ni mitsukerareta kara

btw that's the first song i ever translated. i think this translation can be improved but let's leave that for next time.

Yes, thanks, that's what I was vaguely getting at.
