Skype anime chat

Hello everyone!

I hope I'm posting this in the right section, but I was just curious if people from this site has an anime skype group chat. Posting on the forums is great and all, but instant messaging allows you to chat more freely and not follow strict topics (not saying it's a bad thing). Anyways, that's all I wanted to know! Or if anyone is part of a group already, send me a message or something. Thanks!

There's a chat tab under the banner. Not Skype but it is what you're looking for.

Yeah, I noticed that. Although I must admit that I prefer Skype for easy communication, but that's just me.

Not really, that's for discussing anime. Wouldn't fit there since this is simply about a Skype group based on a subject. Not the subject itself.

GameGeeks pretty much hit the nail on the head for both the OP and the complaint.


And with that, aside from the AF Chat we just Skype each other individually with sometimes random group sessions. But there's no dictated Skype Chat for us.

Sorry if you guys interpreted it as complaining, it was by no means a complaint! I was a part of an anime skype chat a couple of months back and it was great, but since then it was disbanded and I'm no longer in a group; just thought it was a neat idea and wanted to know if you had one of those.

Honestly.. a good portion of us don't even watch anime anymore. We're just here for socialization and ruining peoples lives.

But if you'll ask why are we in an anime forum if we don't like anime, maybe because back then we did, at one point, LIKED anime but we just decide to stick around.

It's mostly the members that joined early that don't watch anime anymore, there is actually a decent portion of people here who do still watch anime. Especially those who are newer.

@mirage_ I only just started using skype again myself, I do have a Skype group based off of another anime forum I could probably get you into if your interested?

In fairness I haven't watched anime in years, and back in my day we didn't have this newfangled Skype and group talks and community-ing chats! We didn't even have 3G or video-calling! [/OldManMode] But yeah, afaik there isn't a skype group for the forum, as has already been said. So, sorry.


You're welcome to hang around the forum and post, though! Every post helps, even if it's just occasional. Maybe there are plenty people here who don't watch anime (or can't, maybe) but then there are plenty who do, and there's always stuff other than anime to talk about, too.
