Help with finding a manga?

Hey, guys!

Today I was remembering the good old days when I used to read manga and watch anime - LOL, anyone would think I'm 80... Anyway, the thing is that a story that I loved popped into my mind. I can't remember the name and I wanted to see if someone can help me?

The story started with a small girl being saved by a knight. The girl grows up wanting to be a knight. She is accepted to a prestigious school, I think it's even a school for knights. There she wants to join this knighthood or something like that. And she decides to save a princess and they fall in love...

I think the girl had pink hair (Or blonde) and she was taller than the princess. Also, the princess had a sword inside her body - that I remember because it was a very wtf moment
