a real man
-doesn't make a lady cry in public or treats her like a lowly pet of some sort
-asks for directions
-admits to mistakes without being an donkey about it
-cries (in public or not)
-knows what love means other than "sex and attractiveness"
-can ocansionally settle for salad instead of steak

If he doesn't have both, He might as well as tuck and cluck.
Respecting women isn't the only thing that makes a man into man, Its a nice thing to do, but..
believe me i have seen alot of my friend's get walked all over by there wife's or girlfriend's, Because they tried to please them anyway they can.
Personally i think that there's no point in having respect for other's if you dont have respect for yourself to start with.

Does it really make much of difference as to what a man is or what makes a man? Ik for a girl we have different tastes in men because of their actions and whether the guy is feminine enough. So it's all a personal opinion. As for crying...my brother has to be the most emotionally detached person I'd have ever met..but when our dad died he did cry..so guys can cry without them feeling unmanly and all that.
As for me...nothing makes a man or a woman but I do know the personality of a guy in order to be with him. He has to be able to stand up for himself and for the things he loves. That's the ONLY thing I'd care about. My last boyfriend couldn't even speak up without wetting his pants so we ended quickly.

When you can spar with a Blackbelt (and your a white belt) have you shoulder dislocated and not only do you pop it back in but you finish the match!
