As for age, most of the way-too-young-to-be-sexually-active looking girls who are depicted sexually are in fact like thousand year old spirits. Possibly the most famous example isn't even from anime. Remember Peter Pan? Well since he's immortal, even though he looks like he's about 13 years old, he's actually like thousands of years old. That's the big problem. And it is ridiculously rampant theme in their country's pop culture. Japan can't even make a music video without dressing up a bunch of 15-year-old girls wearing the skimpiest outfits and sucking on lollipops. It's gross And creepy. I don't see how any of it could possibly be legal in a first-world country.

Saying all of this and watching the anime with that material found within it and then complaining is very illogical and honestly makes your argument seem close to invalid since you have a choice in the matter.

Kuroko "molesting" Mikoto from Railgun is a work of fiction and not illegal due to the fact that it doesn't cause any harm to living people and is pure fiction. Though, this depends on location and culture. In the United States, animation is NOT seen as pornography and I completely agree with that because they aren't real people and its animation. Though, Railgun wouldn't be blacklisted anyway because that'd just be stupid.

1. Not all anime's are aimed at Adults. A good chunk of the shows like Tokyo Mew Mew, Pokemon, Parappa the Rapper are in fact aimed at Children.

2. In Japan the legal adult age is 14 if I remember right. Their culture is a little different than ours. That doesn't make them "Weird or creepy" a lot of the social norms in the U.S would be perceived as strange to their culture as well.

3. You're making it sound as if Anime is the only style of entertainment guilty of portraying young girls in this light...Yet several American shows do it more than the Japanese shows. Don't believe me? Give a watch to some of the shows on Teen Nick or better yet Disney.
