You know I thought this was going to be a dumb Star Trek parody, but they actually did a good story, some decent special effects, and some cool moves during the fights. this may be worth watching. For the record my tree joke would have been about the captain's log.

I really enjoyed this one as well. I was worried it wouldn't be good because I know MacFarlane's humor often tends to be, but yeah, this was actually fairly solid. I hope they stop the ex-wife lines soonish, as they got a bit overplayed, but it was a solid start, and I'm looking forward to the next ep.

And of course Star Trek Discovery is being released shortly, and I have the same wait-and-see attitude for it.

The second episode was pretty good. I thought his parents were behind it before the zoo thing turned up.

That was like 3 minutes into it... Though I kinda thought it was more like a squid ink distraction thing as opposed to anything else, or how could he be with a human woman?

It's Seth MacFarlane.. That makes me think it's the former. I'll most likely give it another try, but if the comedy heads in that direction I'll drop it.
