Forum Rules [NEW] Please read.

Well, I'm singely in charge of this forum now, though I pretty much have been for quite a while now. As such, I've decided the rules needed to be updated and stated better, since the last rules for this forum were written even before I was a member. These are pretty much the same as the rules I set up in Feudal.

1. No Spam.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Double/multiposting. There is an edit button. Use it.
Posting off topic.
Posts considing of only a word or two. No simple "I agree"s. If you agree, give an explaination or some something in addition to that with which you agree. I will remove any posts like this.

2. Don't Flame.
Theres no need to insult someone because they disagree with you. Flaming also leads to flame wars, which then leads to spam, and now you've broken two rules. So just don't do it. This includes trolling and flamebaiting.*

3. No cursing.
No swearing of any kind. This includes the use of swears in acronyms, as well as censorship of swears. It is against the overall forum rules, and there are many children who come onto this site. Please respect them.

4. Post in the right forum.
Some anime have their own subforums, so post in there for those anime. I don't want to see any Naruto threads in here.

5. No "vs." threads.
They're annyoing and pointless. So, no Naruto vs. Inuyasha, or "which character is hottest". This includes "Who should Inuyasha be with? Kikyo or Kagome?" as it iss more or less a vs. thread.

We have a sticked Versus thread which is moderated, and I will be reviving that.

6. No pairing threads.
They are pointless, and pretty annoying.
This includes "Who should ___ be with?" And "Who would you marry?" threads.


7. No advertising.
This includes any and all other sites.
This goes especially for sites that offer illegal downloads of media. In addition, don't request downloads.


8. No Quizes.


9. Favorite/Least favorite Thread Rules
With favorite/least favorite threads, post why you like/dislike that character. Memeber who fail to do so will have their post deleted. If I see mulitple memebers doing it, then the thread get closed.


10. Starting new threads.
Always be sure to search the forum using the "Search" feature, to make sure that the thread does not already exist. Duplicated threads will be closed.

And remember, just because you didn't read the rules, doesn't mean you're any less exempt from them.

*I will tolerate this in Mavericker's case.

Well I just finished reading the update and I completely understand everything except one of, the Quiz one.
I was just wondering why you don't like other members to post quizzes.
I have no problem its just some people find them rather fun. I was just wondering is all.

These rules only apply to what is in General Anime & Manga, not to Magical Girls.

Personally, may I say. If they are very intellectual versus threads I think they should be allowed. Such as in the RP section we have to give it to you through checking. We should do that with the versus threads.

Hence why I have the Official Versus Thread stickied at the top of the forum. Unfortunately, people don't seem at all interested in it, as I've only received 2 suggestions.

Well then an official thread would leave the creator of the versus thread with less options. I like for my versus threads a poll with it as well. There will be people who vote more then they answer. So that is always fun. An official thread would cut that option out.

No, but like all the other forums on here, I'd consider "wtf" and "frick" to be inappropriate language.

Because they're generally just spammy. Someone gives a link to some quiz site, which may or may not have content that we at this site would deem inappropriate, and then a bunch of quoted text/image replies. It's the kind of thing that could easily go in one's blog, and sort of goes against the idea of a "forum".

Since I'm pretty new here and I don't want to step on any toes I have a question about starting a new thread on a topic that has already been discussed but has been locked for two years. That's what I find when I do a search on this forum. Is it alright to start a new Fairy Tail topic? The anime version of Fairy Tail will be coming out this Fall season.
