May 1st 2015: Community Project: Let's create an anime!

You read that topic right folks. Under my leadership of the general anime section, I have decided community projects are a great way to form bonds between members and help the section and forum grow during that bonding! We already have monthly movie night, but now let me introduce you to my newest idea that may draw in some attention:

Let's create an anime: The anime section and those interested will begin creating a well done anime story with interesting characters, anime themes and cliches, a strong summary and offering a thrilling conclusion!

What we need:

- 3+ writers
- 2+ people interested in creating characters, but not drawing them out. Character summaries, descriptions on looks, etc is a must.
- 1 person interested in drawing out panels for our created work. This person must have good drawing skills, imagination, be willing to work under a timed schedule, stay in contact with me. Drawing sketches is fine, but I make the decision when you can begin working on panels. This could very well help artists bloom even further. If nobody signs up to be my artist, I can hire someone from a seperate site. To add: You must be fine with drawing out fan-service if the time comes.

I haven't written anything here in years. ...Although now that I think about it, I haven't sat down and written much of anything in a while. ;; This could be a good way to get me back into it. I love writing characters, but the story would be fun to do too.

As for drawing. Ehhhjjjj I could try but I bet there are plenty better artists that could manage it.

I can do the drawing or the writing, I just need more info no what it is going to be based on. I have something I have been working called Darkmecha I going to do a comic on if this helps any.

Depends on the style I guess, though I think regular traditional black and white works.

So, have we picked the writers/character designers yet? Are we gonna just hodge-podge it and see what happens, or will we be putting things up to votes/polls to see what the AF community wants to do?


Just my two cents, but if we've got enough to start writing and/or making characters, how about let's develop a direction to start in? That way people can start communicating and creating. I think a good way to start this may be to decide or poll what genre (Romance, Magic Girl, Feudal, Fantasy, Space, Mecha, Post-Apoc, Rand, etc.) we want this thing to be in.
