Japanese Hot Spring Bath Powder

So I recently bought some Japanese Hot Spring Bath Salts/Powder and figured I'd share with anyone who's interested in the daily culture.

I got a box of 15 individual packets for about $12.00 on Amazon

The packaging comes with cute illustrations to look at. The aroma smells so great and you feel so great and refreshed afterwards!

and the tub after it's poured; it becomes less lime-ish the more water is in the tub.

Oh wow, I love those drawings on the case/packages. I love how a lot of their products come in nice-looking packages, it makes it more fun to buy lol

Nope it doesn't stain and it mellows out and becomes less vibrant as more water fills the tub and mixes more. The aroma is long lasting. My usual bath products I stop smelling on my body right after the bath but I could smell this scent throughout the night.

^mine had dye in it but it was subtle and I didn't have any problems either
The milky version of these smelled good too.. very fragrant and despite the large amount of water in the tub, it still was opaque. Gave it an authentic hot springs feel. The reason why I bought these over other similar ones is they are actually made in Japan, not China like other brands.
This one I used had a light blue coloring.. the others are gray, green, and white.

Oh I think we had the same brand! Yeah they were really good and you get a few different colors/scents

I can't help but question if these would have any negative effects on the plumbing in different countries. I like the green color though and even I'm curious now to try them. Of course I live around people that don't like strong scents so that's not gonna happen.

Why exactly? It's essentially bath salts or bubble bath products which is something America and other countries already sell. Companies like Lush and so forth. It dissolves in water so I mean...? Not sure what you're trying to get at here.

I did have a bath salt bomb from Lush once that contained small bits of seaweed. Went down the drain, no problems. I'd be more worried about pouring bleach and other cleaning solutions down the plumbing than these.

Sorry if that's weird to say...but seriously I would want to have baths all the time. Its like a mini pool!

I guess I didn't think it through. I assumed that it being something more commonly used in one country that it might have products in it that would build-up or wear away on fixtures in another country.

That was my requirement when I had the house built: I must have a corner jetted tub.. because it is magical :P

And its not drying at all, leaves my skin silky. Supposedly each kind mimics the mineral content of different springs around Japan.

Curious to know, If I smoke these bathsalts will I have the same zombie effect like the other bathsalts the crackheads were using. (I couldn't help it.)
