How did you find AF?

I pretty much did like dome of you and just did a web search for an anime forum and found AF. I can't talk about this genre with just anybody so it's nice to find a safe haven.

Well I found this forum the old fashioned way...by means of a search engine. I checked this forum out along with other forums, but it took over a year for me to decide to join this one.

Honestly, I don't even remember. There is an Attack on Titan tribute game (yeah, the one by Feng Lee) and there was a forum for the game. I guess I wanted to expand and go to a more broad genre of my interests: anime. So I literally typed in 'anime forum', and hooray I ended up here. But I lurked on here for quite a bit - actually I didn't decide to make an account until recently.

I was searching for lyrics for a certain anime ending song, and that led me to a site which I think most of you know. While viewing the Kanji version I found a typo (I was excited that I recognized it since I am trying to learn Japanese). so I wondered who I should contact about it and after looking around the page I clicked a link and landed here.
P.S: the typo is still there.

As a young'un (say, around 14?) I stumbled across TuxedoMask.com during a Sailor Moon search. I got into writing fanfiction, spent a great deal of time on the fanfiction board there, and then hopped over to AnimeGlobe when that started up in 2000. Was a frequent visitor/blogger/moderator for a long time. Met me hubby and moved to Australia with him.

I watched Neon Genesis Evangelion and wanted to see what other people's opinion of the ending was so i googled Anime Forums. Looked at a couple different sites and found this to be what I had in mind.

I dont pop in regularly but when Im watching a show I like to stay in that universe a little longer after completing the first watch so I come here and take the plunge.

I found AF after taking the romaji test from AnimeLyrics last year. I actually knew AnimeLyrics for many years while searching for Japanese lyrics, just that I did not have any knowledge on the Japanese language back then. Until I passed my JLPT test last year, I decided to give it a go on the test (and passed), and at the same time I found AF.

Sadly, when I came to AF it seems very inactive compared to other forum I visited before.

Hm... Now that I think about it I want to think I was referred here... or maybe it was through here that I was referred to another forum. I don't know. I joined a lot of forums in early 2007.
