Confusion

Okay there are some things in anime that never get explained. If anyone has answers please say them. If you ave questions ask.

Examples;

Why the heck is Bleach called Bleach? Was Ichigo bleaching his hair?

What is with the carwash scene in Utena?

Is the world in Big O some kind of computer Matrix type thing and if not what the heck was that ending about?!

The anime Bleach was named after an album by Nirvana.

I always thought Bleach name was after the change of color the series suggest. Since shinigamis are, you know, black, and souls tend to be white. Interesting, though.

On a side note, Utena is way too deep for me to try to understand the whole. Love those shadow games in every episode. Kashira, kashira... ♫

It takes more than a few viewings to understand the plot. Fortunately, the plot is the least important thing about FLCL. The series started as a joke. A couple of anime writers decide to put together a script or story-line using various anime clichés, never seriously intending to put it into production. But then they saw that they were onto something. Look at FLCL as simply a spoof. It's a classic dumb, but fun anime, though admittedly not everyone's cup of tea. Just like some anime fans do not like slice of life anime, or mecha anime, some do not like spoofs or comedy.

But stay away from the two sequels, FLCL Progressive and FLCL Alternative. They do suck a-ss.

The first tie i saw the first 2 episodes I spent ten minutes making inarticulate sounds.

By the end I got most o fit though. it's only 6 episodes.
