Hey fellow AF members, how are you guys? Okay, the thread was later than expected, but here we go-pri!:

Stamps:

Bronze: The basic of basic stamp. These will be easy to come by and will be fun to collect~

Question: Who is Sakura Haruno?

Silver: Moderate level stamps that will be tougher to collect. There will be a max of five silver stamps and earning them will involve different tasks posted on official threads posted by me in the future.

Earn your first silver stamp: Want a silver stamp? Well, fine you baka! All I can say is stay active in the anime boards on here and you'll earn your activity silver stamp. When and how you get it will vary person to person and helping others, posting, making threads is a quick shortcut to this!


Gold: What are gold stamps you ask? More like... what is it? There is only one type of gold stamp that can be earned (numerous people can earn it though). How do you get it?

By triggering a secret action of course! What is that action? No worries, it isn't difficult to figure out. To keep what it is a secret, even if you trigger it.. you'll never know what you triggered.

What are stamps:

Stamps is a new, hip, exclusive to AF community project that will make this section even greater! As of now there will be 13 stamps that can be obtained and obtaining them will earn you a gift no other forum user can get without them!

I'll certainly keep a log. I was thinking of making a seperate thread to show who has which stamps. I'll try and make graphics for them. Gotta see if a MAL buddy can help.

Will these stamps be edible and if so what flavor?

Seriously tho, I like the idea but whats the piont of aquiring stamps if nobody can see em? Unless the whole point is working towards this mystery gift.

I agree. But I suppose that's just more work for the mods. :/
I think the idea of putting them in a thread will work still. But it would be better and more appealing if they were more visual and present. I think they should be slapped under our avatar somewhere.

Could we opt to have the stamps show up via where the gift box is on the left side of our posts? Rather than show gifts? Or would that be too much of a project to incorporate? I suppose we could just put the image of the stamp in our Siggy, but I have disabled signatures for faster thread viewing.

I think it could be a bar like our rep bar above the avatar so it doesn't take up too much room. Then have a bar light up when we achieve the trophy. But I have no idea what kind of code work goes into that or how hard it would be to implement.

I would to make the stamps visible via giftbox or some other location, but that'd come down to the admin and not me since you'd have to incorporate codes for it to work. I could ask, but not sure how quick or right it'd get done.

We could make the stamps into gift store items themselves (of course still retaining the ability to collect and/or exchange them for the other exclusive gift store items), and use the recently obtained box on the side of every post along with the "AF Shop" tab on everyone's profile to show off the stamps and exclusive items. Of course we'd need to hit up them there site admins to see if it's possible, but I think this might be an easier route than some others.
