Hardest Final Boss(es)?

What are some of the hardest final bosses you've played in your times? I'll go back a few years, and sat Metal Sonic, from Sonic 2. That and the giant Robotnik/Eggman thingy at the end. There are more, but I'll save myself the trouble of thinking back and naming them right now. So, go!

um, oh yeah...Even in Metal Slug...Since SNK makes mainly arcade games (fighting, action etc.) they kind of want you to die a lot so you keep putting money in the machine.

that SNK is just a small company therefore when KOF and such come to consoles it's usually an emulator running the ROM?

Or in the case of the Neo-Geo AES the data on the ROM chips is all essentially the same because those hardcore SNK fans wanted the arcade experience that came with their $300 game?

I meant fighting games in general e.g. I heard somewhere they had to make a patch to make Seth easier on SFIV.

MK final boss is pretty hard to beat in the arcade versions, console products though it was easy for me to beat. It's like they lowered the fighting AI or something.

Also some FF bosses are pretty hard as well.

Well the best part of a fighting game is playing against a real person. But as you get further through the "tournament" when playing against the CPU the AI is only usually so good. So to counter that they just make the game get cheaper as you go along.

Sorta like with most games it seems where the harder you crank up the difficulty the cheaper the computer gets not the smarter.

Beliar and Jurgen Wulf from BloodRayne

Wulf - So much health and always runs to scrounge up a weapon when he gets hit enough times. If he is close enough, he may strike you with a flaming punch and then of course, flee. With Beliar around, he will be busy trying to kill that...or you if he sees that you're closest when he gets another gun.

Beliar - Supposedly, the devil...all attacks are useless against Beliar's body. The only way to defeat him is to shoot at his visible heart. You only have a limited amount of time to kill Beliar even if Wulf is present. He grows with time. If Beliar gets too big, a cutscene will play of Beliar killing Wulf and Rayne...or Rayne if you were quick enough to kill Wulf beforehand. Then you have to start from the beginning of the level again.

It took me two hours to figure out how Wulf was able to damage Beliar. Once I got it, I scrounged around for a Panzerfaust, hit his heart and followed it up by peppering it with a strong and accurate MG. (Sad thing about the panzerfaust is that you can only fire once and then you must discard the launch tube as it's useless. As a result, the Germans came up with the Panzerschreck, based off of the U.S. M1 Bazooka that utilizes a re-usable launch tube)

all the games on my psp SNK collection start with the neo geo arcade ping.

Actually most others like capcom's Megaman games always has hard final bosses or even the [I]tales[I] games.

lol I useally have no problems with final bosses if I get to them, not to brag, I don't really play many games. But I tried Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox, and had a Terrible time with it cause it seems to requre all kinds of combo moves and crap. I mean, that first mini boss thing was hard to get past lol.

i cant think of any recent games with hard bosses. In fact i get the feeling that the Boss Fight is a lost art in video games...sad indeed =(

B,b,b,...BAAL! He's the most strongest enemies man i wish i was that good on disgaea 1 and 2 i not too close ecpically on 1 but on dark hero days it would be diffrent.
