How am I cornered? Aries is dominating in votes. How is Aries a threat? His posts makes no sense whatsoever and you just agree with what he says without adding any input. His points make no sense, he's basically putting words in my mouth and twisting occurrences to his convenience. Saying "he makes valid points" doesn't really add anything. That's like saying "I agree" and that's it.

Empty Handed

 

The restlessness among the Survey Corps grew ever more intense.
Who was friend and who was foe? Denja's sudden death had made
the soldiers weary and emotional, and once the troops were back within
the comfort of Wall Rose, arguments and suspicions between
the ranks spread like the plague.

"I bet he's a Titan too. He was friends with that Yoko Littner guy, wasn't he?"

"True, but she was a friend of his too. I saw them hanging out a lot
before the first expedition, before we killed that traitor."

"I don't think you guys have any room to talk. You all grew up in the same village,
didn't you? You should have been able to know something was off about Yoko.
I wouldn't be surprised if you were all hiding something from us."

"How dare you!?"

"You're one of them, aren't you!?"

A brawl ensued in the barracks, where soldier was pitted against soldier.
A new recruit that had been cleaning his gear stood up, holding a
single paring blade. He put it up against one of the others' throat.

At that moment, an officer walked into the room. "What's this racket?!
You barbarians better knock off your petty squabbling before someone
gets hurt! You really think Humanity has a chance of survival if you
all lose your heads and start murdering each other?! Sit the hell down before
I inform the Commander and have you all charged with treason!"

The fight broke up, and each soldier went their own ways. Glares were
exchanged. Curses sworn. One recruit in particular, smirked under their breath,
as the others finally turned away.

Humanity attempted to lynch [???] but failed!


Discouraged, the Survey Corps finally settled down and began preparations for the next expedition.
