◆◆◆ The Legend of the Farlands ◆◆◆
Somewhere in a distant land, there lies a realm known as The Farlands. This land is much different from Earth, far different. This is a realm of not only Humans, but other races, such as cat-like people, known as Nekos, and a large, strong, genderless race, called the Organs. All these, children of Thinite, the almighty god who watches over The Farlands.
The Farlands holds many wonders and horrors. Beautiful magical places, lush forests, and bustling towns cover the land. However, bands of Orcs and curses constantly thread the people. This is a land of Magic, Wonders, and Adventure.
◆◆ A Forest Under Infection ◆◆
The times in The Farlands were not all that different from Earth, at least the Medieval times weren’t. However, races did not have witch hunts, or segregation within themselves. There was, however, war and struggle. Some races still hated the greed of the humans, or the rituals of the Nymphets, or even the Organs, merely for their size and authority. But in a dark time within the early Middle Age, Enseffer Forest faced a disaster that devoured anything that lived.
Enseffer forest was the largest and lushest forest in The Farlands, and was home to two races: the Sixtens and the Nekos. No one knew where it came from, or how it spread. All that was known is that this disease spread to anything that lives; trees, animals, and even the people. It’s dark crimson shade made trees rot. The infection crept into the bodies of animals and all that was left was a rotting corpse of blood. People who caught the disease would feel nothing for the first hour, but then cough violently, and become weak. Eventually, death greets those who are infected.
The horrible disease became known as Fallon, the ancient Neko word for ‘fall into red’. However, Thinite pitied the Nekos, because of their selfless acts and praise towards him, Thinite cried a single tear for the small race. This tear, the Blue Drop, became the key to the save Enseffer Forest. God told the Neko people through hints of the location of the Blue Drop. Nekos, along with the help of others made a great effort. It was a fight against time, if the Nekos fail, Enseffer Forest will be left in dark-red ruins, and two races will be left extinct.◆
Note: The RP begins just before the Fallon begins to become known to the rest of the realm. When making your character’s history, build up the back story up until a little ways past this point, but when your character first enters the RP, put them in sync with the RP.

◆◆◆ Sample Characters◆◆◆Karpai Character: (DemonSlayerThe3rd’s 1st Character)
Name: Ren “Suigi” Lee
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Shape-shifted Forms: Ren is a little young for his talents, but none the less, he is skilled in shape-shifting. He can turn mostly into animals and weapons his size. He does a leap into the air, his body liquidizes and churns in different directions, until it looks like a lime-colored fluid. Then as he drops, he forms into the desired object. Sometimes he uses this to his advantage, when he wants to throw himself at someone he can quickly shift into a sword to to some nice damage.
Spells:Illusionist - Ren focuses on one person and cause them to experience illusions of his choice. It takes quite a bit of concentration, though, but usually, the illusions are very convincing.Personality: Overall, Ren is a mixture of seriousness and determination with some leaned-back traits. The people who know him can say easily that he will switch from humor to seriousness in a snap, especially when he’s protecting someone, or something. Ren can be confusing because of this, and some people aren’t sure if he’s serious enough, if they don’t see his straight frown and dire eyes. People also say that his eyes can be read like a book, if you know what the signs are. He is quite insecure about his powers, and sometimes melts down over little things.
Illustration - Ren can paint pictures with his fingers in the air whenever he wants to. He uses magic to do so, and he can also wipe it away with a cloth he always carries in his pocket.
Kizz - Ren has the ability to cause small explosions with a glance of his eye and the snap of his finger, but he has to be quick to be successful, otherwise he ends up blasting back himself.
Flash-Step - Ren is quick, but becomes even quicker with the Flash-Step. When chasing, he can use this to gain an advantage. It looks as if he teleports about 10 feet ahead of himself.
Lightening Blast - When push comes to shove, Ren can shove lightening. A forward movement of his palm will cause lightening to erupt from it. But this drains Ren quite a bit if it’s used more than once.
Sparkles ‘n’ Glitter - Ren can heal minor wounds with a wave of his hand. He jokingly added the effect of sparkles and glitter to give it a little humor. It even makes the jangling sound. Ren cannot heal sicknesses or curses, however, much less the Fallon.
Astral Vision - Using this spell, Ren’s vision will shift from his eyes to several feet above his actual body. The color of his sight will turn into shades of blue, but he will be able to see animals through solid objects, as well as anything that is invisible. Ren cannot maintain this for more than thirty seconds however.
Appearance: Ren’s body is almost childish from first look, small, skinny, and young looking. His skin is a soft green, and smooth too. He is a little short, but his wavy blond hair makes him look tall. It’s bunched up in an almost afro manner, but it’s also soft and has an almost calmness sense to it. Ren’s eyes are a bright yellow, shining his humor right out into the person he smiles at. His expression, thought, speak words of it’s own. When he’s not smiling, one can almost sense seriousness, or sorrow, or even annoyance.
Ren wears a purple tunic, nearly looking like a solidly-colored sailor uniform for his top. A white strip runs along the edges of the tunic. It also has a lot of pockets that Ren carries his things in. Even when he has his pockets full, though, he still appears skinny. His lower-wear are a somewhat darker shade of purple, with many strings hanging from it, which are just for decoration. Ren wears no shoes, but his feet are under a spell where it feels and acts as if he had shoes on. He doesn’t get cut or dirty.
History: Ren comes from an incredibly rich family, which he gets his insecurity from. He’s always liked things to be the best they can, an can freak out if there is a tiny flaw about himself. Because of this, people have often told him what he wants to hear, rather than the truth. When he turned 14, he decided to venture into the unknown, to meet new people. His family urged him to stay, and threatened that they wouldn’t give him servants that would protect him from the unclean. Still he went off, but before he did, one of the servant girls secretly gave his feet magical protection. Ren soon found himself in Enseffer forest, where he lived among the small Neko people. He’d always loved cats, and quite liked the little village. the Villagers also liked him as well, he aided the chief, helped those in trouble, and provided some entertainment too. He even met a nice little Nymphet in the forest as well, and as since been his companion. Ren didn’t know how, but he somehow developed a grudge against humans, he just doesn’t like the majority of them. Soon the Fallon spread to the village he was in. It was devastating to Ren, seeing his friends and life rot before his eyes. Ren now has a small part of the disease inside him, but somehow it hasen’t completely devoured him yet, perhaps because his Nymphet partner, Sunsulhi is with him. Ren vows to save the forest, even if it kills him.
Nymphet Character: (DemonSlayerThe3rd’s 2nd Character)
Name: Sunsulhi Obliskh
Age: 4
Gender: Female
Wing Type: Sunsulhi has two pairs of light-blue dragon-fly wings. They don’t flap as fast but they still keep her in the air.
Power:Healing Kiss - Sunsulhi can heal large wounds by kissing the subject’s cheek very lightly. She can’t do it all the time, and she can only delay sicknesses. Once her kiss has been lifted, it will continue. Sunsulhi is also unable to lift curses.Personality: Sun seems to worry about everything, and is quite pessimistic too. She can also be quite immature, which isn’t surprising considering her age. There isn’t much else to her, other than her being concerned about things. Other than this, Sun is quite likable, and cute.
Appearance: Sun’s is small and fragile, but also fast. She has adorable glistening eyes and long green hair. Both of which match her pale-blue skin nicely. Her wings shine with a pink and purple color, and flap quite fast too.
Appearance: Sun wears a green one-piece miniskirt dress. The skirt makes her hips look wider than they really are, and it ends in a zig-zag pattern. The dress seems to have two layers, one white, which is larger, and the top, lime green, making it look as if it has a white border. This dress is all she wears.
History: Sunsulhi had a nice caring family up until she turned 2. Her home was burned down by Elkens, and Sun was left with no home or family. She was alone, and cried for days. Traveled to Enseffer forest where she hid in the tree trunks. She began to hate the Elkens and made a routine of biting any that she sees, once. She remained homeless, until Ren found her. He adopted Sun in a way, and the two of them stayed with each other ever since. Now that the village Ren was staying at has been infected, they are both on a journey to stop the Fallon, what ever it takes. But although he doesn’t know it, Ren has the disease. Sun constantly retains her Healing Kiss on him to make sure he isn’t killed from it.
Neko Character: (Teru Murasame’s 1st Character)
Name: Jin Kobayashi
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Personality: Of all the Nekos, he is the most withdrawn- mainly preferring to work by himself than with his pack. This has earned him the title "Lone Wolf". In battle, he is prone to lash out with extreme violence, and is rumored to have actually eaten some of his opponents.
Appearance: He stands about 6 feet tall, has dark green eyes and dark brown fur with blue highlights. The highlights are natural and form tribal symbols throughout his body
History: Not knowing his true purpose in this life- as well as not knowing who his true parents are- Jin Kobayashi was an outcast his entire life. Coming of age within his pack, he was prone to having bouts of rage and violence while on hunts or with fighting against rival packs. A rumor has been spread that he went as far as eating the still-beating heart of a victim he faced in combat- although this has never been confirmed and is therefore strictly myth. As he earned the controversial title of “Lone Wolf”, he began having visions of pain and darkness. These premonitions were deemed truthful by the Pack’s Seer- for the Fallon has already proliferated The Seer has also prophesied that it is Jin who must lead the search for the coveted “Blue Drop”...
Elkei Character: (Teru Murasame’s 2nd Character)
Title: Raito
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Skills: Raito is an Esper- one of the few Elkei with telepathic ability. He is able to read anyone’s mind, as long as he isn’t fatigued or if the subject being read has not set up any “mental blocks”- usually set by another Esper. He can also use his power to psionically attack an enemy- although these attacks are mentally draining.
Personality: Raito is rather intelligent considering his age, however he is looked down upon and out-spoken due to his age and his “gift”. Nevertheless, he is always willing to learn new things and train hard in order to better himself. He is polite and he always answers with “Sir” or “Ma’am”.
Appearance: Raito stands at about 6’4” with crimson skin and bright blue eyes.
History: Born into a poor social class, Raito constantly pushed himself to climb up the social ladder at an early age. With an innate capacity for learning, Raito was placed in the most advanced learning environments reserved for older and more wealthier Elkei. However, with the discovery of his mental powers, he was accused of cheating his way through school and was expelled. Faced with the scrutiny of having his power, he vowed to only use his power in dire emergencies. With the proliferation of the Fallon, however, he must use his power sooner rather than later. With his family gone and the Elkei people suffering, Raito will stop at nothing to combat this disease...
