Hello!

I'm a new member. I'm a bit of an otaku ^_^

As my username implies, I am from Texas. I am currently running for president of my school's Anime/Manga club. I think I have a good chance of winning. c: I'm sixteen, I'm a guy, and I REALLY enjoy learning about Japanese culture. I've been an anime and manga nut since I was a little kid, and I'm just getting started.

Aside from that, my favorite things to do include writing, art, working on and driving my car, and meeting my new people. I hope I can get active on this forum and meet some new friends. If you want to get to know me, which I hope someone does, feel free to reply or send me a PM.

Thank you for the welcome! I'm sorry you think that way about Texas. It's true that we have LOTS of conservatives here, the people are really friendly and welcoming. :]
While I'm still discovering new anime every day, and haven't met very many I didn't like, my favorites are Lucky Star, Love Hina, School Rumble, Elfen Lied and Ef: Tale of Memories. Have you seen any of those?

Lol, sorry for the stereotype! I love Elfen Lied, it's one my faves. I honestly couldn't get into Lucky Star though, I gave up after 2 or 3 eps. Some of my favourites so far are Clannad, Stein's;Gate, Code Geass, Death Note, AIR, AnoHana, Angel Beats!, Fruits Basket... I'm gonna stop there but feel free to check out my list!
