New style-should I stick with it or not?

Hi, I would really like some in depth advice on this new piece I just finished.
It's pencil on bristol board and is in a style i haven't worked in in a very long time.
I reaaaallllyyy want to improve my anime/manga work as it is my favourite style to work in so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. =]

It looks fantastic to me; I'd say keep this style.
Only thing I'd point out is that I think her arm should be casting more of a shadow under her armpit. I may have misread the lighting direction though Everything else looks great imo.

Ah yes, I've always preferred your more realistic drawings compared to your anime drawings. This seems to be a toss right in the middle and it actually works out quite nicely.

I like it, her eyes are magnificently detailed as is her hair. My only complaint is that her arm seems a bit small. I think her elbow should be down a bit more.

Yeah you’re probably right. It has weird lighting, I sort of made the light come from where my eyes were when I was drawing. I only realised how weird of a lighting choice that was once I was finished. XD
