I think I would try it just for a day also. It sounds like fun to be an opposite just to see what its like in the boys bathroom and whats the biggest difference between guys hanging out and girls hanging out.

I was a pregnant Christian woman on Guild Wars last week... does this count?
Luz, you will find that in spite of popular opinion, the men's room is significantly more sanitary than the women's room.

I was mistake for a boy alot growing up, since I was a late bloomer and I played mostly male sports.
I am proud to be a girl, but I like dressing as a boy at times. Their clothes for some reason are just way more comfortable.
I agree with this... At work sometimes I have to clean both locker rooms. I prefer cleaning the men's because it is easier and less nasty.
Hmmm well I acted as a female on WoW. Got me a lot of gold and stuff because all the guys flip out and are all caring and want to help etc. Made me lol because they got trolled. Oh the memories.
I have been known to play as a girl character on MMOs but I don’t role play as a girl I just tend to like the female model more than the male one.
I hide my gender all the time, hell most of AF thinks I'm a dude.
This is a Sig. It's horribly out of date.
Haha I switched my gender a few times both irl and irc >_> When I was about 12-13 my hair was really short and I was really thin and I dressed boy-ish clothes, plus my style and voice weren't girly at all so I was often mistaken for a boy. Actually I grew up among guys so yeah.
And on chat I rp'd as a guy a few times, had a male character. It was fun.
No Mercy,
No Remorse.
||Thank you MaruDashi for the great set!||

Yeah, I have pretended to be female on various occasions. It's usually to screw with people.
i hate to admit it, my old school sometimes did Gender bender day and since my sister and i are twins we just reversed our roles, i dressed up as her and she as me, it was so convinceing my folks got us confused
Religion, ideology, resources, land, spite, love or just because... No matter how pathetic the reason, it's enough to start war. War will never cease to exist... reasons can be thought up after the fact... Human nature pursues strife.
Paine (Naruto Shippuden)
In the past, I've pretended to be the opposite gender online. It was certainly entertaining.
I'm actually a male and proud of it.

Online I've pretended to be a male, which was pretty funny actually :L
IRL, the only time I pretended to be a male was for our drama presentations, in which I was chosen to act a male role cause my voice was deeper (despite my hair being the longest of the people in my group.).
Signature by myself :3
I had never really enjoyed the fact that everyone online know everything about me, but once I realized that when you put something on the world wide web, it never comes off. So I let people guess. Some that know me know I'm a guy. Still others think I'm a girl..
Sig and avvie set by the wonderfully talented and amazing Bou. <3
Featuring the laptop I always used to complain and talk about in chat.
I may not use it anymore, but I still have it!
It depends on what you consider as one hiding their gender. As you can see by my Postbit panel to the left of this post, my gender is apparently "hidden" (and has always been so); however, I see this not so much as "hiding" than simply dismissing that which I consider to be irrelevant detail about myself in the context of this forum, hence the omission. Also I don't reveal my gender so as to minimise what tends to lead to sexual descrimination; for I do not care to be treated as a "boy" or "girl" by any member. Only on dating sites or in environments designed for developing relationships would I feel it necessary to reveal my gender, and then, only if absolutely necessary. It doesn't bother me if members other than myself see me as either a "boy" or "girl"; for in psycological terms I don't attach any sense of gender to my sense of "self", because to do so would serve only to restrain my "true" self.
Of course, I have thought of a possibly awkward situation where some member on some forum (say, this one) might befriend me under the impression that I'm of a certain gender, hit on me, then eventually lose it with me because he/she later discovers that my gender is opposite to the one he/she expected (or rather because the revelation might make other members think differently of his/her sexuality). He/she may even add that I was misleading him/her by "pretending" to be a girl or boy so as to blame me for the error of judgement, at which point I'd be more pissed than he/she. In most cases, when one speaks of a person "pretending" to be the opposite of his/her actual gender, he/she is really referring to a subjective, artificial, social idealology of gender that is imposed on people under a pretentious deception called "civillisation". Thus, we are socially conditioned to think that to be female is to like flowers, dolls, pampering oneself and the colour pink, while to be male is to like practical pursuits, cars, getting dirty and the colour blue. The more we foolishly submit to these ideals the more natural they seem to us, until eventually, they are so ingrained in our psycology that we are quick to base our assumptions of one's gender on them.

New people in the Chat usually think I am male because my colors are green, and I tend to hit on women.
I don't bother changing my gender here, but some people did mistook me for male here, and some other sites. It's fun. But I never pretended to be a guy. People should ask instead of assuming.

Thanks to Ms Lucy for this awesome, funny gif.
The person that you are now is not the person that I used to know. You're becoming a stranger that I've never met before. Not liking the change though.
For some people it would be very difficult to pretend to be the other gender irl. Though everything is possible with the internet.
This is frikin' hilarious :3
nope. i likes having mah peenus and am proud of it.
Hmmm... Been a whileSit back some time and simply ask yourself, [Link]->"Do you even lift, bro?"<-[Link]
Gender trick? I would never. I've never pretended to be a girl online.
