I'm cool with it. If I find the time I'm willing to help. I have almost no experience with Python, but since my current project involves regular expressions I could help with that and also learn in the process.

If I knew where to meet all of you, I would help out with questions since i'm currently developing in python. I am self taught with a few books. For those of you who have C, C++, and C# background, Python is going to be a walk in the park. Programming with C is like using a bulldozer to mow the lawn and Python is like using fingernail clippers. You don't have to dig very deep to do some powerful things with C, but with Python, you only have the bare essentials until you start using other libraries to enhance the functionality of your code.
Anyway, those are my two cents. I am currently working on an Anime Manager (open source) if you want to test out a real world project. It's nothing fancy, but I've used most, if not all of the techniques that most books go over regarding syntax and best practices. I, myself, am still learning (1 year experience). My first project was an IRC bot and I didn't use any 3rd party libraries to create it (which is the best way to learn). I still have it, if anyone is interested in learning material.
Let me know!
