I'm aware of the seizure episode 38, and I found a raw copy of the full episode. Now at the end of it also has something after it, that I'm not sure if it was intended to be part of the episode, but it's spliced right to the episode's end (by whoever ripped the video and posted the torrent) rather than being provided as a separate video file. It LOOKS like it is discussing the danger of seizures caused by the episode, but if that's the case, then it wouldn't have been part of the episode but rather a separate video, because they weren't aware of the danger before (or they would have slowed down the flashing effects). On the other hand, it could have been something saying the potential danger, and so not to watch it if you've previously had seizures, in which case it still should have come BEFORE the episode, not after.
Since I wasn't in Japan when that happened, I don't know if it's suppposed to be part of the episode or if this is just a bit of splicing done by the pirate who uploaded the torrent (which is kind of stupid, because a RAW copy of a TV episode is supposed to be exactly that, a copy of the episode, not a copy of the episode + an extra video segment spliced into one video file, and it is supposed to preserve the original for archival purposes so that future film and animation historians can view this many years in the future, not a typical pirate recording, but rather a RAW recording, which obviously exists for archival purposes). I'm considering using video editing software to shorten the video by trimming off the last part of the video, but before I do, I want to make sure that I'm not actually removing something that WAS supposed to be part of the episode. This way I can restore it back to its TRUE original form, and once again have a RAW copy that is suitable for film archival. And archiving this episode is FAR more important than any other, as it has been removed from circulation (due to seizure problems) so is EXTREMELY rare to find any copy of it. For this purpose I'm using software that COPIES MPEG4 stream packets, rather than reencoding the video, so that ZERO additional artifacts are added.
But before I do this, I want to make absolutely certain that the original episode as aired in Japan (before removal from circulation) did in fact NOT contain that video, lest I accidentally remove something that was SUPPOSED TO BE part of the episode. This is the short video segment in question. I found a copy of it by itself on Youtube:
Please let me know if this was supposed to actually be part of the episode.
