I guess I'll preface this by saying that in all honesty, I don't really think my Japanese is particularly good... This makes translation kinda difficult, but I had some fun and I don't think I completely screwed everything up.


I'm going to post my current full translation in a spoiler up here for if anyone wants to take the time to critique it (that would actually be appreciated, since there's likely things I've gotten wrong, even after a fair bit of revision), but there are some key things I already know I'd like to question here (so I'll go over them seperately).

 

Tonight, once more, there's things I've gotta do.　A bunch of them.
They come one after another,　I have no clue what's going on!
Check my messages,　check my hair,　and check my homework
Gotta respond,　gotta blow-dry it,　and gotta answer the handouts

My mom says "no staying up late", but
"You can't sleep until you tidy your room" too... which one is it!?

I don't know when I'll finish,　but I'll do it!　"I'll do it now, already!!"
Responding with new emoji,　straightening and drying my messed up hair,
finishing off my homework too
And I've put the stuff I left out back in the closet

For now, at least, it's perfect!　I've done it!
I brushed my teeth,　did acne care,　and set the alarm clock too
Now, wearing cool clothes, I'll play my bass on the big stage

So let's get to it,
one of the big things I'm not really sure on is my handling of the line
Woo　こんな時は目を閉じて　スーパーな私
Woo　At times like this I close my eyes and become a super-me
Maybe I'm reading too far into this and just need to go back to the basics, but my interpretation of this is that the 'super-me' isn't performing an action as one might expect, but that that's the result of the action.... is that a 'correct' way of seeing this?

Next up:
1秒数えたら　願いに手届いちゃうYeah
If you count out a second, your wishes will come true　Yeah
So, this one actually confused me a bit, but I think I have it figured out.... 「手届いちゃう」 must mean something along the lines of "will reach your hand".... although honestly I'm not quite sure.
I guess what I wanna know here isn't quite so much the details as much as whether or not you guys think "your wishes will come true" is a reasonable equivalence in English. Perhaps something more along the lines of "you'll get what you want" could work too.... Maybe?

話題のドーナツだって
and on the donuts that form what's being discussed,
This one..... yeah.... I know I've seen 話題 translated to mean things such as popular topics before, but my understanding is that it simply means 'topics of discussion'... so we have the 'donuts that are a part of what's being discussed'???
Yeah... I'm really not sure on that.

Woo　It's inevitable that I'll open my eyes again,　but I'll do my best
or Woo　It can't be helped that my eyes are open,　but I'll do my best
Any comments on which one of them makes more sense for this line?
(Theres some level of notes on how they'd play into things in the full translation)

And finally:
いつ終わるか知らない　でもやるよ！　もう、今やるって!!
I don't know when I'll finish,　but I'll do it!　"I'll do it now, already!!"
So yeah, I can only make an educated guess that that って is being used for quotation of some kind. Is it fine to just write it out like a proper quote in English, or should I change it to something more like 'I said I'll do it now, already!!'?

I think this translation is very good. You will need to take the Japanese test in order to submit, but I don't think you will have a problem if you can translate this well.

Yep, she's saying that when she closes her eyes she sees herself as like a super hero.

I think you could see this as "the topic of donuts", as in, the donuts are the discussion topic.

"しょうがないな" here is an idependent exclamation in reference to the previous stanza (and complaining about her mom). "Woo, can't do anything about that - I'll open my eyes and do my best!"

Moreso than an actual direct quote, って can be used for emphasis, or like a way of saying "didn't you hear me? I said ____" so yeah maybe "I said I'd do it right now, already!"

(which makes them line up with your recommendations)

I noticed you missed "your wishes will come true" though.
I assume you had no problems with that.
