Man Commits Two Attempted Robberies...With A Potato

Police in Providence, Rhode Island said that a masked man attempted to rob not one, but two area businesses...with a potato.

He first went to a gas station but was chased out by the clerks. Then, 30 minutes later, he went to a dry cleaners. The only thing he got away with was a counterfeit $20 bill that was kept in the register.

Even though the robber didn't get away with anything of value in this mashed heist, police are still keeping an eye out for this half-baked bandit.

Apparently, the robber was shouting "GIVE ME THE MONEY" over and over again and, instead of risking injury from this strange robber (who would argue with a crazed potato-wielding man?), the dry cleaning clerk just gave him some "money".
