In JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Stardust Crusaders song STAND PROUD, there is a lyric that says "CARD wa kubareta"

The correct lyric would actually be "TAROT wa kubareta"

Tarot is the type of card used by Avdol to name the Stands, so as much as "Card" would be right in terms of synonyms, "Tarot" is the word used in the song (and lyrically flows better)

The pronunciation would be /ta ro/ instead of /te rət/, so it makes sense

It appears that "kaado" is given as the translation for the English word "TAROT". I just listened to the song, and tarot was indeed sung.

Sounds like it is vocally 'kaado' (and thus implicitly 'TAROT') to me. This is the standard use of ruby text, not the other way around, and in the first place, tarot in Japanese pronunciation would normally be 'tarotto'.
