    I really don't think that makes sense. The word is still the English word, and should be written as such, even if it is sung with a Japanese accent or pronunciation.

    I can see where it's confusing, because in the original Japanese lyrics some of the English words are written in katakana, and thus are written phonetically in the transliteration, whereas others, like "fake" and "chase," are written in the Latin alphabet and are thus spelled correctly in the translit. If the words in question were written in katakana I would consider changing it, but since they're not, I think we should spell them the way they're spelled in the original, official lyrics. Changing parts of lyrics that were originally written in English to reflect the pronunciation of a singer who's not a native speaker is just not a precedent I want to set.
