Cartoons you think would make a good anime

American cartoons and comics get turned into anime all the time. So which ones do you think would be good for the process?

I just read "I hate Fairyland" and it seems like it would be good as an anime. The main character already has green hair even.

I don't remember if Blade was ever made into a cartoon but it would make a great anime in my opinion.

I believe not. According to rabid anime fans, a show must be specifically done in Japan for it to qualify as anime. The wiki lists it as an American action-adventure chanbara animated series. So no. Sadly it is not anime.

Looking at the credits listed at imdb.com, there are a lot of oriental sounding names among the various animation directors. Actually, I think they may be Korean. There is not much bio on them. There is Korean anime, which is influenced by Japanese anime. I didn't watch the series, but I remember talk of much of the artwork and animation, or at least post-production, being done in Japan or Korea. Just what I heard.

For hilarity sake I would love to see Darkwing Duck, Duck Tales, Tale Spin, and Gummi Bears as anime as well.

!. Archie...teens hanging out together, two pretty girls, just right for anime 2. Josie and the Pussycats....cute girls dressed up like catgirls, plus they are music idols, also the troublemaking Alexandra who wants to steal Josie's boyfriend, sounds like an anime series to me! 3. Johnny Quest...action cartoon would have made an interesting anime series.

A an indecisive boy who keeps being fought over by a dozen girls he can't choose between who is also friends with Josie and the Pussy Cats and has Sabrina the Teenage witch as a neighbor. Actually Sabrina already has her own manga.
